Ok so this is what my club has scheduled. If someone here would like to organize a NYGF shoot/fundraiser on any day (other than those Below). I will be more than happy to accommodate and facilitate it. As always you are all more than welcome to attend and participate in any shoot we have scheduled.


28 April - Work Day (starts at 9amgoes till completion)

12 May - Scoped Rifle Steel Shoot

May-Aug - Military league 1&3 Tuesday of the month

May-Aug - Scoped Rifle League 2&4 Wednesday of the month

2-3 June - Appleseed Shoot

9 June - Rimfire Rifle Steel Silhouette Shoot

14 July - Centerfire Pistol Bowling Pin Shoot

11 August - Rimfire Pistol Bottle Shoot

8 September- Black Powder Cartridge Steel Shoot

29 September - Scoped Rifle Steel Shoot

All Club Monthly Shoots will start at 1030
Appleseed shoots are run by Jon Baisley contact pompierjb@aol.com they are not club shoots.
League shooting starts at 5pm

Well it seems that one of the parties that is causing us issues commented on the go fund me page link that my gun dealer shared on her Facebook page. She has since deleted it.

The comment was along these lines:
“Go fund me pages r for people in need not for ur pleasure”

We still need help getting the word out and donations to come in. Ideally finding 2500 people across the web to donate 10 bucks to the club would be perfect. I know we don’t live in a perfect world and all help is appreciated.

why is there a judge there to block you ??

did you (the club ) go to the town clerk with your plans ?? we what to do this .. ?? what do we need to do ... if so ..

"We have had the DEC (we invited them) out to the property to review what we want to do. They have no issues with it. We contacted the planning board and asked if there were any restrictions on our plans, there are not. So we are proceeding with our plans. We expect to get hit with a bunch of complaints as soon as the Dozer shows up on the land. "

hope you have it documented .. if not go back and get it done .. if yes then ..

FK them neighbors .. there fight is with the town and not you (the club) ..


is the range open to the public .. don't have to be a member to come and shoot kinda thing .. DEC offers a GRANT to help pay for Range upgrades ..
last i knew its was like 50/50 .. you spend 5K , they kick in 5K ..

Not open to the public for DEC purposes they require a free weekend a month for those type of grants.

@Acer-m14 Just a ? Are you talking about a club or your own private property? My Club operates under a usage permit from the town and is regulated as so.

the club .. if i had a "you" in there it was in reference to "the club"

the club i shoot at had to get a waiver and other stuff since a part of the club is in the village limits ... since you can't shoot with in the village ..

so if any neighbor has a problem with the club .. go see the town .. were in compliance with the town ... till they tell us ( the club ) otherwise ..

Hello everyone thanks for your support. The good news is the neighbors and the club have put down the war clubs and are settling our differences in peace. I had a go fund me page set up and I have since taken it down and asked them to issue all the donors full refunds. Since we didn't need the funds to fight a legal battle I feel it is only right to give the people back their money.
