not disagreeing, but this is legitimizing at the scale of millions. the effects of which will be seen by our children (although i dont have any, i mean next generation). the scale at which these politicians are sacrificing the future of this country for a personal gain, is absolutely repulsive...
maybe, but the annual quota for legal immigrants is very low and reserved for qualified individuals BUT the quota for illegal immigrants is, well, non existent, the numbers pretty much run over.
i just dont understand how the system makes it easier for someone entering the country illegally to become a citizen while people who come here legally have to work extremely hard to become one.
i havent. need to venture into orange county or nj to checkout in store.
dont want to hijack this thread, will post a separate one for recommendations.
why not get both?
since crossbow season shorter in NY and you can maximize your hunting season and increase the odds of getting a deer.
i personally prefer crossbow [currently looking to get one], as my shoulder is kind of screwed with motorcycle crashes (besides in PA archery season includes...

Nice choice. i recently picked up this Mark IV 22/45 Lite
shot about 400 rounds of variety of 22 lr ammo 2 weeks ago. it pretty much ate any 22 lr that was fed to it except, Quiet-22 [expected], i had to manually cycle it. otherwise fine. [i think there is a semi auto quiet cci version as...
There are still decent options available for 22 online. less than a week ago I paid as low as 4.99 for a box(50) of cci ammo. They are out there for reasonable prices. Just have to have patience.
i am VERY late into this :( and paying pretty penny now.
i remember paying 50 cents for a round of shotgun slugs and 40 cents for 7.62x51/308 fmj prior to covid, thinking this is ridiculous price for ammo.
wish i had bought more, as those prices now dont look ridiculous.
thanks, appreciate it. ended up with ruger mark iv.
saw a buckmark in local field and stream, was really nice. may be a down the line i would consider picking it up.
indeed it is crazy. even .22 lr are selling out in a matter of seconds online. bought about 4k rounds of 22 this week.
I don't even have ANY gun to shoot 22 [YET]. going shopping for a 22 this weekend hopefully will find a ruger iv or something.
at my old house, i had a lot of issues with rodents, rabbits and squirrels.
not sure what kind of critters the new place will bring in.
need advise [come summer] from some you 'pro gardeners' on how to secure the garden, besides shooting them.
why not? sounds like it can be advertised on QVC.
'you can do your gardening and kill the varmint stealthily at the same time. win win'
and you know some of those people who buy stuff of QVC [no offense] will go, 'hey i need that'
unfortunately no shipping to NY.

Time to clear some trees and build a backyard range. This might take a while. Hoping to get this done by summer. may be i should start a different thread to capture the progress.
went to a range today. it was fully booked until evening. told me, no walk ins and must have an appointment. my fault for not calling and checking.
traveled another 35 minutes to a second location. waited an hour and was able to get in.
on a positive note, fired off a couple hundred rounds i...
dang, thats all your workout equipment? impressive.
mine consists of 2 pairs of 15 and 10 lb dumbells and a treadmill
i feel inadequate looking at that collection
hopefully a third party rises from this mess. both dems and republicans at this point are in bed with each other.
damn leeches sucking americans blood.
for long guns,
i generally leave the action open and/or magazine detached, unloaded, throw it in a bag, leave it the trunk [like a car, for SUV, good measure lock it].
ammo throw it in the backseat.
if you can lock it, do it. otherwise buy a cheap lock and just 'lock' the bag.
oh yea, save...
i was surprised to see that there are not many options.
looks like size wise, similar dimensions as glock 26, albeit bit smaller
[which when i held it in hand was not very comfortable]
