There are still decent options available for 22 online. less than a week ago I paid as low as 4.99 for a box(50) of cci ammo. They are out there for reasonable prices. Just have to have patience.

Nah, guys like that don't shoot .35 Rem. Guys like that shoot 300 BLK, current military cartridges (through all the latest tacticool hotness) and whatever the boutique cartridge of the month is.
That kind of person will show up to the range with a SCAR, a B&T PCC, a $3,000 custom Glock and a custom high end bolt action chassis rilfe with a $5,000 German optic on it. Also, more than likely, his targets will look like he spent the day patterning a shotgun, which he may have also been doing with his aftermarket custom Benelli M4.

Im in lower westchester and there not many stores around here. The few that are will sell ammo for online pricing like a $1 per round. Bass pro is 45min from me. Dicks no longer sells ammo near me. My only option is to buy ammo online or at gun shows at a reasonable price in todays standards.

Sure but I’d almost never pull the trigger for fun anymore. I’d essentially only use my .22lr at that point.
Gotta shoot no matter what, marksmanship is a perishable skill after all. Gotta practice, gotta shoot, gotta pay. That said my 8 hour, 1k plus round range days have long been a thing of the past.

What is in more demand and expensive on GB. What requirements are needed to ship ammunition?
9mm is probably the best return on initial investment but any ammo is sure to sell at a high price as we have seen here. Any ammunition suited to self defense in firearms geared towards defense i.e. anything "tactical" are probably the hottest things going. Ammo can't be shipped via USPS and not all UPS or FedEx drop of points will except ammunition either. It's not illegal for a private citizen to ship ammo though so maybe just lie and say they are bolts or some such. I do so all the time, ship firearms, parts and ammo and list them as "machine parts". When I sent a rifle back for service once I said it was a pump and related hardware for an aquarium.

thanks for the advice but I will be 100 percent legitimate and ship ammo in the proper and legal fashion With full disclosures to the shipping company. Something about lying and saying your package contents are bolts , machine parts or aquarium pumps when it actually contains restricted or regulated items is a no go for me. All legitimate, all the time yields a less troubled life and worries. Just my .2 cents.
I ship ups. Has to go ground and have a limited quantities hazardous materials label on it. Only restriction is it can't be over 50 cal or weigh more than 66 lbs. You disclose its ammo when filling out label as "Cartriges, Small Arms" but this doesn't appear on shipping label. The retail stores won't accept it has to be dropped off at a service center.
