Did someone say Ruger?!
I love mine..fails to eject properly/doublefeeds occasionally but I think that is a combination of me fucking with the take-down screws and cheap ammo. Runs great 99% of the time..going to put a Surefire or something up front with a pressure pad..
Got this very recently...still considering that Saiga being sold in the classified section but I couldn't resist this. Looking into a UH1 or XPS as well. Anyone used both?
Also a couple of SAFE firearms - that's a 10/30 HexMag in case anyone was wondering...
How much are they going for?
I would do this but I don't think any of the FFLs I know would feel comfortable transferring it to me (Firing Pin, Gadsden, Imperial Arms, etc). MIght be worth a discussion though..one of them didn't even know what an other was when I brought it up last week.
Awesome - I am in Rochester area. It looks like the barrel is completely non-threaded, is that the case or is that just a really solid fitting muzzle cap?
That seems overly expensive - must be because they make so few. Compared to something like (BCA AR-15 Side Charging Upper Receiver/BCG Combo .223 / 5.56 NATO) I don't understand why I wouldn't get the second, just quality?
Hey Everyone,
Been considering getting a manual action upper for a bit - anyone have experience with any of the different styles (straight-pulls, side-actions, lever release, etc)?
Additionally - been considering just buying the 'Kali Key' and utilizing that to convert an existing AR to...
Brookes Gun club is 20 mins from Henrietta and has 100, 200, 300 yards. The Firing Pin is about 30 mins and just bought an outdoor plot and is currently creating a 400 yard range.
I'm looking into replacing this handgrip with another one. Any suggestions? So far I'm leaning towards the AT-3 SPEAR M-LOK Free Float or the FM-9 M-LOK Free Float - just worried about heat resistance I guess. Any other ideas?
Essentially, yes. This is not a 'stock' since it never touches the buffer tube (so no thumbhole) and the 'hunting rifle' style of grip is allowed where-as the 'pistol' grip isn't.
I spent about 200 rounds today using it - felt pretty great to me. Felt very natural and well-fitting. But to be fair, I don't have a lot of experiencing utilizing other grips or stocks. Only real issue is safety 'reachability'. I can go from safe to fire without moving grip but to return it...
Hey all,
Recently got a NY-compliant rifle from an immediate family member - they're now out of the country for a few weeks without an easy way to contact them. Unfortunately before they left I didn't get part details. Even if I could, I'm not sure they would know the answer. I'm trying to...
