Media will either push race, hate crime or banning gun agenda. Let’s all wait until the all the facts presents itself. Remember innocent until proven guilty, the brother shouldn’t have died regardless. There is a lot is skeptical statements and actions involved with this case, we have to stop jumping to conclusions and just wait to see what happens. IMO it could either go 2 ways. 1). The court find these two gentleman guilty with a little bit of help from the media and the potential backlash from the public or 2). Won’t go down for murder but something less, do a little jail time and going back to do what they do best. If they are found guilty of murder expect some form of gun control from this mark my words.

He even breaks down each part of the law individually and goes over how the dude still didnt meet the requirements ..

I’m not watching a video. I will take your word for it. I guess in Georgia anybody can enter any construction site whenever they want unless specifically told not to. I am surprised. I imagine the two guys who stopped the victim here also didn’t know that it is 100% legal to enter a construction site unless told not to and beyond any reasonable doubt engaged in a crime such as theft of supplies.

I just said I agree with you. He didn’t trespass. unless he intended to rob the place, in which case he did trespass. But as he is dead we’ll never actually know.
We shouldn’t even be discussing it as nobody in this thread thinks the gunmen were justified in any case.

Go to 4:00. And specifically 4:50 where noir refers to "as far as we know" there were no signs.
According to this (Father and son 'had earlier confrontation with Ahmaud Arbery') there was a sign warning against trespass.
I agree with Noir. The existence of that sign does mean arbery trespassed. So we can put that to bed, he broke the law.
Now, still, nobody in this thread has argued that going into a house constituted being stopped by armed men. And for the record I have entered many construction sites, but none with these signs. Most don't bother. Those that have it I skip past.

No he said that like a no gun sign in many states the management has to specifically tell you to not be there for it to equal trespassing.. so yea maybe rewatch the video cause you clearly didnt or atleast you didnt pay attention

That long private driveway isn't legally any different than that large private corn field.
Absent fences and locked gates or at least "posted" signs it is legal to wander wherever you want regardless of who owns the property.
That is why they have those "posted" signs every few hundred feet around property all over the place.
Now, I would assume that any contractor worth his salt has posted the necessary signs around a construction site. If they were, then it is trespassing. But absent signage to the contrary, he can legally wander around and "explore".

Looks that way. In this case it appears also that the sign was in fact posted, ergo trespassing. According to Georgia state law.

I do not think you watched the whole video. He clearly explains why it isn’t trespass. It says that you have to do so for an unlawful purpose. The mere act of going in isn’t enough. It has to be for an unlawful purpose. And because he didn’t steal anything, there was no unlawful purpose.
Also, if there was a sign, that isn’t enough under Georgia law. You have to be told and then choose to remain there. Colin explains this in detail.
And finally in order to stop someone and place him or her under citizen’s arrest, the one you arrest would have to commit a felony in your presence. No felony was committed. At most it would be a misdemeanor if he stole a hammer or if a sign held water.
You clearly didn’t watch the video. You skimmed it.
