The false lie every where is that he was shot while out for a jog. Many POC's are saying they need to change the way they exercise... They are afraid this will happen to them. I just read an article that said white people have no idea what fear is....
Riding a subway while white. Fear of being jumped by a pack of teens.
Window shopping downtown while white. Fear of being a target of the knock out game.
Walking down the street while white. Fear of being robbed and shot for your wallet and shoes.
Driving while white. Fear of being carjacked.
Sitting on the porch while white. Fear of being hit by a stray bullet.
Working in a convenient store while white, brown or yellow. Fear of being robbed daily and being shot eventually.
Speaking while white. Fear of being sued for accidentally offending someone. Fear of not knowing how to speak because words change their meaning daily for some reason.
Seeing while white. Fear of accidentally making eye contact with someone who accuses you of "monitoring" or "stereotyping" them
Property owning while white. Fear of being sued for protecting your property.
I guess we all are taking risks.

Even if these two guys came out and specifically said they hate black people who jog and their entire goal was to find one exercising and shoot him, this would still be a stupid statement to make. Going by the Availability Heuristic is no way to live one's life.
Anyway, there is apparently a four minute video of the chase, which makes sense. Man I'm sick of people posting snippets online without the rest of the video beforehand. In the 3.5 minutes prior it could turn out that they were hunting him like they were in the movie Surviving The Game, or it could turn out that in the three minutes prior he committed a felony or two which could have justified what they did attempting to exercise a citizen's arrest.
Nah, fuck it. Let's just all conclude based on a shitty video exactly what happened. Courts are for wimps.

This is impossible to make any judgement on until more is known.
Specifically, who took the video, why did they take it, and what happened before the now infamous final 10seconds end.

It doesn’t matter what he was doing or what the law says that you can do. Bottom line, if it isn’t life threatening, don’t be a hero. Because even if right and even if lawful, you can end up like these guys who tried to do police work without any immunity and now are paying for it with money lost and freedom lost.

It does matter what the law says when it comes to their trial, and we still don't have the details.
Based on what we know so far it sure seems like they would have been much better off just watching TV and never leaving their house.

If you do not want your gun confiscated, freedom gone even if temporarily for questioning, possible death threats made against you, possible stalking putting your own family at risk, legal council not provided by a police union but rather on your own dime, ect, it matters not what the law says. Ive trained a lot in my life disarming someone with a gun, its a risky situation i wouldn’t try unless I truly thought someone was going to kill me Fact is if someone is going to shoot you they will just shoot not wave a gun at you. It they point a gun they want to intimidate you if they want something give it to them.

I do not understand how that charge is even possible.
My guess is that they are going to say that the entire thing was planned, maybe not the killing, but the chasing down and scaring the shit out of or arresting the dead guy.
Possibly the GBI is going to say that the three of them conspirared to do this making the camera man just as guilty.

No. They can take 100 TVs still is not worth shooting anyone or having to deal with a nighmare of you making a fatal mistake.
TVs can be replaced, mistakes that cost lives or life in prison cannot be undone.
A different story is a violent felon who is actually trying to rape, kill or hurt someone.

But whatever the color of people or reason it does not justify anyone to police guns-out on other people because
by just doing that you might be starting a situation you cannot get out from.

Investigators Say One Man Shot Ahmaud Arbery. Why Are Three Charged With Murder?
Mr. Arbery’s family pushed for additional charges.
S. Lee Merritt, a lawyer for Mr. Arbery’s family, recently said he believed that because Mr. Bryan had participated in the chase and “corralled” Mr. Arbery, he should be arrested along with the McMichaels, who were charged May 7 with murder and aggravated assault.
“We know it’s not only the man who pulled the trigger,” Mr. Merritt said.
In Mr. Bryan’s case, the authorities said, he had tried to help detain Mr. Arbery, which contributed to his death.
“Felony murder is a crime in Georgia where you’re committing a felony crime and that crime ends up in the death of another human being,” Vic Reynolds, the G.B.I. director and a former district attorney, explained at a news conference on Friday.
“As the warrant indicated, he’s charged with an underlying felony and he’s also charged with felony murder,” Mr. Reynolds added. “So, we believe the evidence would indicate his underlying felony helped cause the death of Ahmaud Arbery.”

Devil’s advocate here. I don’t think this guy should have been placed under citizen’s arrest. He should have just been followed for the police to sort out. But someone following with a camera to record a citizen’s arrest that happened to go wrong , doesn’t make him a murderer.
That’s like a journalist following cops with a camera on a chase and getting charged with murder if it was a bad shoot.

I paid a lot of attention to this case too - most specifically because what these men did is what the Irrational Left is completely wrong about in the Rittenhouse case. Arbery might have wandered into that construction site, but you know what? I've done the same damn thing in some really high dollar construction sites where I just wanted to see what it looks like putting up a million plus dollar mansion. I never was filmed stealing anything, and neither was Arbery. This is a bunch of "good ol' boys" jumping to conclusions without proper justification, taking matters into their own hands, and chasing down and killing a man. It's true that you cannot claim self defense when you are the aggressor. Kyle wasn't, these guys were.
But no - this can't be happening! We do have two different Justice systems, right? 11 WHITE Jurors and 1 Black juror seem to disagree.

From what I've followed of this case from the beginning, it seems like this is a proper verdict, but I didnt follow it anywhere near as closely as the Rittenhouse trial. They were very different cases.
