Actually, lets go there a second. 400yds really isn't that far considering, our military fires at 400yds a lot during combat. Many LEOs know their weapons pretty well and are confident with them. Knowing where the shooter is, an M4 on 3 round burst, yep I'd take the shot. More than once if necessary.

I am not quite ready to give my full assessment of this situation. As it stands right now, I do not believe even 5% of what we are being told. I smell something that I am not liking. Already, too many inconsistencies. Too many people part of this investigation saying too many different things. Lies are being told. Parts of the story are being made up.
I have a few more things to get together, once I do, I will post my rendition of the shooting.

So, just for my own edification, aren't typical AR-15's incapable of being converted to full auto? Not saying at all that's what was used here but it came up at work and I wasn't 100% confident in that statement, although I'd swear I heard that before

Ever read a book by Mathew Bracken called Enemies, Foreign and domestic. The three book series starts with a "shooter, taking long range shots into a football stadium. hundreds killed and then the gun control starts, then gun store owners are either killed or burned out and it escalates from there.
This sounds and looks like the book. except its concert instead of a football stadium

If he was shooting an AK with russian or chinese FMJ ammo then many people whould have survived due to pin hole wounding.
the light for caliber rounds like this or a blackout specially in FMJ run out of steam fast.
ROF and sound didn't sound like an AK but again is hard to say in a recording with all the echo around.

OK, but then where does that leave us?
Was the entire room a setup?
Are all of the casings planted?
Did a shooter or shooters fire from somewhere else, and if so, where?
Is there film footage covering the hallways of the different floors?
Can they trace any bullet trajectories back to that room, or not?
Any drugs in his body?
When exactly did he buy all of the weapons, and do the clerks recognize him? Is there footage of him buying ammo anywhere?
Is there hallway or other footage of him bringing in suitcases with the weapons potentially inside them?
What footage might there be of any other people entering that room during the time he was checked in? Or is there NO FOOTAGE???
