This green beret is claiming that the first shots lasted about 14 seconds which would mean he fired approximately 200 rounds in the crowd nonstop . Im not so sure about that. the rate of fire is slower than a full auto and it seems like a about 50-100 to me. He also mentioned that the 556 round is stabilized at 300 -500 yards which I find to be wrong , usually it starts tumbling at 250 or so he also said at 500 meters its still supersonic which didn't sound right to me

The effective range of the 223 is 600 yards. I had to qualify with it and the 308 at 500 meters with iron sights.
past 600 yards is not good but still can kill (not that will) we also do not know what 223 he used right? Because there is 223 that will extend
the effective range to 1000 yards and also other that will reduce it to less than the military standard like for example
vietnam era 55gr fmjs shot from PMC bronze that come out 300fps slower than the military one.

Maybe one day we will learn what he used but based on the poor wounding ration I am guessing some sort of miiltary
hard jacket or green tip that are better at piercing armor but not necessariy in soft targets.
The new service ammo woudl have been more lethal but some aftermarket like lets say black hills 77gr smk would have
been the most lethal and probably he didn't use that. Perhaps a good thing he didn't know these things.

The days old dead body doesn't seem likely to me, especially if the picture of his dead body showing the blood streamed from his head was actually taken when they breached the room. Seems like if he had been dead for 3 days, either the blood would have been coagulated and dried up, or, if he had been dead, and then placed there, they could not have gotten the blood to flow with no heart to pump as he bled out.

Also, flies would have laid eggs in and on his body shortly after death. Coroners have multiple ways to tell how recently someone died, - unless their body was stored in a freezer for months or years like that one killer in NJ did years ago.

I think it is hard to determine that from the videos because we get lots of the echo that in a microphone is harder to
discriminate from the actual round but it can be done I think.
I think the rate of fire also changes not with the slide but with the BCG. A lighter BCG and trigger and some range time can
get it going pretty fast. the best method? no. But he was shooting from a 32nd floor at 300-400 yards so with such large target
it is harder to miss hitting somebody than not hitting them.
but so far I believe it could have been worse.
This idea might change as we learn more but who knows.
This is true evil at work. I would not be surprised this is a 2.0 version of the texas massacre of cops but taken
to a new level with 100% defenseless people in a gun free zone.

For what we know he was not firing neither belts but we don't know everything.
There are also AR uppers that take belts and money was not a problem for him.
Maybe he had two or three side by side and what it seems like a re-positioning between
bursts is him jumping from one gun to another that can be faster than a magazine reload prone.

So many things we don't really know. I guess it is just curiosity pulling on speculation.

holdover there are so many things we don't know.
Most of the stuff is people guessing. I think in the end the police will have a pretty good account of all the cases even the ones
that might have one out the window. Also magazines and he actually fired.
this is not going to be a quick investigation because they want to know how deep this goes.
If they dig deep they might find a connection of some sort even if the planning and execution was solo.
We will see.
