  3. I am Israeli and I posted a comment about the Vegas attack and got a lot of responses. I see it’s a hot topic. So, I want to bring up my conclusion.In Israel we learned it the hard way, it seems the US going the hard way too. Untrained and unarmed “Security” personnel giving a feeling of a false safety. There were NO armed security in this huge hotel. Wow!!!
     So I travel a lot in the US and here are some more observations. Nothing frastrates me more than the unarmed and untrained TSA people at the airports. They are supposed to locate explosives and terroris and are unarmed and look more like school janitors than security personnel. I never see them looking at people to detect terrorist behavior. Now that IsIs is losing you should be prepare for a major revenge attack. They will try to show they are stil strong. In Israel the situation is more dengerous so we have more security, you enter a mall you see armed guards and detectors, you go to a government office like for a passport and you have to pass security, bus stations , security. The big places have more than one and submachine guns and the small places a regular pisol. BUT, all those security people have the look of special forces experts, tough, confident, alert and you know you don’t want to mess with them. Every security position even at the smallest business is occupied by people who are armed and have battle experience.
     I don’t say America need to get to the same extreme but in Airports and sensitive places YES and if someone is carrying the title “Security” they better be trained professionals or they are putting people who trust them at risk. The US have many trained Veterans who could hold those positions.
     I have to mention there is some improvement in the US airports. But not TSA. Blessings. .

    David – In the USA, some time back they found we had over 70 TSA ‘agents’ who were on the terrorist watch list.

Just a thought, I know our medical care is top notch and I am familiar with the life saving statistics about treating casualties in the golden hour at a full hospital....but isn't it somewhat unusal none of the hundreds who were wounded or injured ended up with mortal wounds? The death toll has been static right? I haven't seen any adjustments or heard of any of the wounded succumbing to their injuries?

Does anyone else think that's strange? With all those wounded some of them severely that they haven't died? Don't get me wrong I'm thankful for it and it is a testament to the concert goes who have buddy aid, the first responders and medical professionals.

Mandalay Bay shooting hero Jesus Campos was pressured into giving his only interview to Ellen DeGeneres because the giant company that owns the Las Vegas casino feared he would spill the beans about the shooting timeline if he was grilled by real journalists, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.

MGM is worried that families of the 58 people murdered as well as many of the 546 injured in the Mandalay Bay massacre will launch lawsuits potentially worth billions of dollars against the company, sources tell DailyMail.com.

And they thought Campos might not keep his story straight under the pressure of the TV lights and tough questioning.

Nothing ever surfaced on the news about it. I don't even remember people from the hotel being interviewed. Just those in the concert were on the news.

That woman certainly called someone about shots fired . Then what about the story of them clearing rooms and the guard helped ..Before during or after the shooting. ?

Typically in these situations the press has the perp's life story, plenty of photos and interviews with friends or acquaintances. So where the Hell are they with this guy? He worked at the post office, the IRS, and as an accountant. Could they not find anyone? And how is it we don't have any leaked photos or video from the hotel? I just read the mandalay was ordered not to delete anything. Kind of late for that now isn't it?
