You're right. Could just be a pop tart lol.Just because someone may have seen "something" under your shirt (unlikely), they don't go right to "gun!". It's the furthest thing from most people's minds.
I see people with large phones there daily. You're right. Could just be a pop tart lol.
In the climate we have now, I think "gun" is the goto thought. Really, how many people carry something there?

Virtually nobody thinks "gun". It is the furthest thing from anyones mind. They are too busy on their phones or just going about their lives to notice. If they happen to notice a bulge or any inconsistency under your clothing (trust me they aren't looking you up and down to detect anything in the first place), they certainly aren't going to think "gun". They don't see guns, guns are not involved in their lives except for occasionally on tv. They do not see them in the real world. They associate them with criminals and cops and you at the store getting a loaf of bread and a dozen eggs represent neither. It is just so far removed from their mind it's not likely to trigger a "gun" reaction.I definitely think most non gun owners expect people to be carrying pistols tucked into their waistband at the small of their back. Seriously it's like the only place ever shown in any hollywood movie and to 99% of people that's their only experience. They have no clue about kydex holsters, different body carry positions and holster placements.

One thing we have going for us in NY is that pistols are pretty rare so that just leads even more to people not assuming that anyone actually has one, especially on them at this moment in this business/restaurant/venue.
If someone dealt with "object A" every day in their lives and they were carrying a bag filled with that object, they would think everyone knows the bag is filled with "object A". You however rarely if ever actually see "object A" therefore you never come to that conclusion in your own mind. People are just way too paranoid and afraid or nervous about carrying their gun. If you have a target only permit I could understand. Other than that - get over it.
Walther pps m2
Can be found around $350 well not so sure anymore they're probably more now
Come with 6, 7, 8 round mags so you have flexibility how you want to carry and conceal it. With the 6 rounder it's tiny, you can have a nice controllable subcompact. With 7 or 8 round you can get a 3 finger grip on. It never prints even if I'm just wearing a t-shirt and shorts.
I love mine Im 100% satisfied and would buy it again
The regular package PPS M2 comes with two mags, a 6 & 7 round .
The "LE " version has 3 mags, 6 7 & 8 round and phosphorescent sights.
Well maybe I just need to get a different holster and carry barrel towards junk lol.It could be a medical device, a colostomy bag, insulin pump etc..
I think most people wouldn't think twice unless it was super obvious.
Exactly. You’ve never seen. That’s the point. Nobody does.Well maybe I just need to get a different holster and carry barrel towards junk lol.
My Alien Gear is at 4:30 or so. I've never seen a phone, medical device or anything carried in that position by anyone.
I can't wait till cold weather arrives or coyote season opens. My ALS will brought back out for daily carry.
I was shocked to see how inexpensive Walthers are for the quality you get......especially with one of the best triggers on many models.Walther pps m2

Glock 20 huh? Egads! God help the fool that decides to tussle with you.For a couple years I carried my GP100 3 inch in a DeSantis OWB holster all year around with a Tshirt and shorts. I carry everywhere....all the time.
For the last 6 months Ive carried my full size Glock 20 10mm in a We The People IWB holster.....same tshirt and shorts....or tshirt, hoodie and jeans.
Ive carried both of these guns around family and friends on a daily basis.
One couple we hang out with several times a week had NO CLUE I carried every time we got together....they were shocked. Fairs, restaurants, their house, our house, festivals, camping........everywhere and they had no clue and when asked, neither ever saw a bulge.
Same with my parents, other friends, 2 cop friends(who already knew I carried)my sister........no clue.
To be fair, I am 6" 230lbs and should wear a 2x tshirt but due to my wide shoulders and monkey arms, I wear 3x tshirts. So, the waist is quite poofy.
But, never been questioned
The gun fits me great andcI shoot it great. The bullet on a 10mm will do the same as any other bullet. It will go through and through on a small human chest cavity if using ball or hard cast loads meant for bear just like any other solid bullet from any other service caliber and if using hollow points, it will expand to about the same diameter as any other bullet and push on. Depending on the load, it may exit due to the extra weight and velocity compared to say a .40 for example. That’s really it.
Damn, I'm liking that 77grn load. A 10mm carry gun is on my short list, this may have bumped it up a notch. The gun fits me great andcI shoot it great.
I have tested many rounds and either carry Underwood 165 grain BJHP @1400FPS and 718 lbs.
Or RBCD 77 grain @2420fps and 1015 ftlbs.
Pretty much rifle speed and damage. Absolutely devastating compared to anything I own, including 44 mag.
And with 11 rounds its pretty devastating.
Shooting jello only shows you so much. Real world data is superior. Turns woodchucks into wallpaper paste at 30 yards......44 mag does not.
Well that 77gr sure changes the game. You now have a rifle. Over 2000 fps will do that. Also, correct on gel and other test mediums. They do not simulate human tissue. What makes an explosion on one medium will not do the same on human tissue. Most of these mediums that people use like gel, watermelons, or even small animals aren’t as tough as human tissue. You can rip off pieces of those mediums with only you fingers with minimal effort. You cannot do that to human tissue. The gun fits me great andcI shoot it great.

Yeah, if he don't print his G in an ALS he's gotta be a fat SOB or not truthful about what he wears. No way in hell my P99/ALS doesn't print unless I'm wearing at least a loose jacket. Granted, come open coyote season I open carry a lot, but also have my back tag.Don’t take post #44’s advice. That dude just recently got his carry license. He prints on purpose so that others know that he is carrying. He has said so on other threads. He wants confrontation.
You need to do what is good for yourself for both physical comfort and overall comfort so that you can go about your business throughout the day without being molested by a Karen that will call the police on you and possibly put your life in jeopardy. You also do not want to give up your tactical advantage of somebody knowing that you are carrying if something goes down that doesn’t concern you and you can exit safely or just blend in with everyone else.
Seriously my only reason for carrying the 10mm is that it fits my hand the best and I am extremely accurate with it even rapid fire. I bought it for the range and to have fun with reloading.Well that 77gr sure changes the game. You now have a rifle. Over 2000 fps will do that. Also, correct on gel and other test mediums. They are fragmenting bullets designed to not over penetrate. Super high velocity makes them great at barriers but frag in soft tissue.....they are soft points. Im not too sure about the validity of their claims so I dont generally carry them yet but they do penetrate good. My problem is with the how can they both penetrate hard barriers and fragment in soft tissue.....sounds fishy too me.Damn, I'm liking that 77grn load. As @Marine Cpl says, It'll punch straight through, and it's got AK like velocity with a bigger hole.
Plus way better barrier penetration than most carry rounds.
As for concerns about over penetration, anyone counting on their target to also be their backstop in a self defense shooting is already setting themselves up for a very bad time.
That 77 gr would do the same as a 7.62x39. Roughly close in diameter and close in velocity. May not get a full exit due to the weight but it would stretch tissue past the point of elasticity.Seriously my only reason for carrying the 10mm is that it fits my hand the best and I am extremely accurate with it even rapid fire. But after a few weeks firing it, it has become like an extention of my arm. None of my other handguns come close. My normal carry round....Underwood 165 BJHP........is a great all around cartridge......lightish recoil, plenty of power, accurate......
The 77 grain is just fun to destroy stuff. No idea what it will do to a human body but it makes 8 inch pumpkins literally disappear.
