Regardless of who's "fault" it was,Alec Baldwin is a murderer.

Murder requires premeditation.

I seriously doubt he intended to harm anyone (this time), let alone kill them.

However, this situation is an accident. Negligence for sure, but nevertheless there was no criminal intent, on AB's part. I can't speak to intent on the armorer or prop masters part though.

Other than AB having to close his eyes every night and suffer the pain of what he did there's only one other actor that deserves it more, Alyssa Milano.

Generous of you to afford AB the benefit of the doubt but I doubt he would do that in return.

I know details are limited but you would think the accidental shooting would be another actor on the business end of the prop gun as opposed to off scene people. Maybe Baldwin being a jackass?

My guess is he was facing the camera for an opponent view.

Every movie with guns involves this, though--generally it's very safe (as evidenced by how rare these events happen), but only if diligent safety procedures are followed. They clearly weren't in this case.

The obstruction could have been be an actual bullet, but it's unlikely it was in a live cartridge.

Got a problem with this, I dont have the details so far, so theres no way to know, but. #1 Balwin is a crazy nasty spoiled hot headed elitist drunken asshole. He was the producer on the set. the Big boss. and is known for his temper tantrums . #2 live ammo in gun #3 two people shot by accident. why was he shooting at the photographer??

I dont know what type of weapon and I dont know it it was only one shot. But if it turns out he shot twice, it was no accident. It was homicide. He better pray to the god of washed up actors that it was one shot two hits.

and even if it was , he had no business having live ammo on the set at minimum there's negligence.

I still can't wrap my head around the fact that a live round (though I wonder if they're defining "live round" the way most of us would) would even be on a movie set let along handed to an actor who was going to use it in a scene. This screams or blazing incompetency at multiple levels OR (tin foil hat time)....maybe it was meant to be this way. Maybe someone was trying to put a hit on the director of cinemaphotography.

Now just doing a quick search apparently crew members walked off the set prior to the incident because of lack of safety precautions among other reasons. This story just got more interesting.

According to NPR reporting, this was a low budget production, and they did not have an armorer on site. There were complaints of unsafe environments filed by crew members that staged a walk off before the incident. Seeing that AB is also a producer, would he be liable for unsafe conditions and lack of proper armorer oversight etc.?
