It's not OK for him to do that. And yet it's somehow ok for "him" to advocate guns are bad and should be taken from law abiding citizens yet make millions using them for entertainment without the slightest practice of fundamental gun safety? At the end of the day he pulled the trigger and he owns this. Basic safety check could have prevented this. I don't give a fuck how many people were supposed to do their jobs the gun was handed to him he aimed it and pulled the trigger obviously oblivious to the fact that it was "hot" this is on him and may he rot in hell for all eternity. /rant
Won't happen, but it would be epic if it did.I did hear that Mr. Trump was invited on SNL to do an impression of Alec Baldwin.
Perhaps not a crime IDK but certainly gross negligence and I hope it costs him everything to families involved. It's not OK for him to do that.
It's not a crime, but that doesn't make it OK.
Hypocrisy is very much not OK, but it also shouldn't be criminal. It should get the offender completely ignored in polite society though. But we haven't had one of those in a long time.
Oh, and had it been you or me it would most certainly been pursued as a crime. "Oh my friend handed it to me I didn't know it was hot". Yeah, good luck with that. It's not OK for him to do that.

"My friend handed" it to me is a very different thing than "the prop master of the movie we're filming handed it to me."Oh, and had it been you or me it would most certainly been pursued as a crime. "Oh my friend handed it to me I didn't know it was hot". Yeah, good luck with that.
OK so prop master should be convicted here? Must be nice to be a gun grabbing liberal who makes his living glorifying guns and has no responsibility for any fundamental rules of gun safety... the prop master said it was OK wahhhh. Sorry no sympathy here."My friend handed" it to me is a very different thing than "the prop master of the movie we're filming handed it to me."
If you or I were in that situation (maybe as extras ?) I would not expect charges to be filed either.
OFC, if it were you or I we would have checked the gun, and then let the prop master know he was a dangerous menace
Sympathy for who ? The chick who died ?OK so prop master should be convicted here? Must be nice to be a gun grabbing liberal who makes his living glorifying guns and has no responsibility for any fundamental rules of gun safety... the prop master said it was OK wahhhh. Sorry no sympathy here.
Nope. I'm saying fundamental gun safety rules are (should be] absolute. If you or I were given a gun and told to 1. treat it as unloaded 2. Point it in an unsafe direction (ie at living people) and 3. Pull the trigger. Pretty sure you'd at minimum do a basic safety check to ensure gun was not loaded and at maximum say fuck no I'm not covering anything I don't want to destroy loaded or not. Somehow this fucking liberal gets a pass. Fuck that. This is on him and I hope it haunts him til end of days.Sympathy for who ? The chick who died ?
Baldwin is too much of a narcissist to need any. He wouldn't feel a twinge of guilt if he'd loaded it himself.
He's probably pissed at the prop master for all the negative publicity he's getting. Indoubt he actually gives a fuck about the woman he killed.

Based on one quick bit I read I don’t think this is standard procedure. They have set crew confirm. Otherwise, you end up with actors on set personally loading all their mags, etc.The actors themselves should also be responsible.
They are the ones who point the gun and pull the trigger.
If they are not qualified to determine what the gun is loaded with, then get them qualified before you hand them the gun.
Any actor handling a firearm should be personally responsible for verifying it's condition when they take possession. Anyone else gets a rubber prop.
I'm not suggesting the actors load or prepare anything.Based on one quick bit I read I don’t think this is standard procedure. They have set crew confirm. Otherwise, you end up with actors on set personally loading all their mags, etc.
Here they had a green armorer who was in over her head. 'I wasn't sure if I was ready': Doubts of 24-year-old head armorer
I know you would check the firearm and follow safe firearm handling procedures as well as most if not all on this forum. The problem with actors and liberals is that they don’t have it within them to grow appreciation and respect for firearms and it’s a reminder of what they despise, firearms and us. It’s probably a unwanted chore that they hate doing. The rules don’t apply to them, just us.I'm not suggesting the actors load or prepare anything.
Just that they personally verify that it was done correctly.
If I were an actor, I would certainly be inspecting any firearm I was handed and told was unloaded, or loaded with blanks to confirm.
If you were handed a gun on a movie set, and the script called for you to point it at someone and pull the trigger, would you just trust the guy who handed it to you ?
If they can't do it, then they don't get to handle the gun.I know you would check the firearm and follow safe firearm handling procedures as well as most if not all on this forum. If this here ends up being the truth, and the shots were not fired during filming but in between and intentionally in their direction, then this is criminal.
Many "actors" have gone through extensive firearms training to the point of becoming proficient. He on the other hand became profieicnt in getting stoned.I know you would check the firearm and follow safe firearm handling procedures as well as most if not all on this forum.
