There’s no fight to win in NYS. We might get a little victory here and there but it will not make a difference in the long term. NYS would have to do a total 180 in all branches of the government to make a difference. I vote and I truly don’t know why. Even in my local city and county elections this year not a single person I voted for was elected. That means not a single republican representative was elected.
It happens because they rolled out this system knowing full well it was full of flaws. Walmart, Runnings or the local FFL all go through the same system. Don't be confused because that is exactly what they wanted and is happening.

The state will threaten law suits to all retailers just as they have retailers selling AR parts. Hochul has unlimited funds for law suits, retailers don't. It's worked in the past.

Call me crazy but there are a few things here that come to mind. Honestly it could be that they don’t want you buying ammo too close together or too much too quickly. Second thing that comes to mind is that they didn’t have time to get to the check and she just bought some so she was delayed. I don’t think anyone can tell you for sure.
