Will FFLs be able to contact that ATF, specifically the NICS system, to verify the result when the NYSP come back with a Delay or Rejection when you are purchasing a firearm or ammo? If not, then NY has found a way to deny us our rights "legally".
Because NY FFL's will have their NICS checks registry disabled, it will require them to contact the NYSP intermediary for any contact. Other posters seem absolutely certain that Dealers will be able to skirt or side-step the SP, however everything we have read contradicts that. Once you understand how the process works, you'll understand that the options are limited.
