Any of them deal in cases with good prices?

I will have to do some research. I reload most of my stuff, but things like 22lr, 9mm, 223, and 38spl I prefer to buy if the going is good. I can imagine showing up with a wad of cash to get what I need.

I have seen nothing saying you must buy your ammo in NYS or that it is illegal to posses ammo that hasn’t been background checked. They have no legal authority to stop you or search your car for any reason at all. Possessing ammo even in plain sight is not criminal in anyway shape or form. This doesn’t ban the possession of ammo not purchased in NYS and NYS laws don’t follow you to PA.

The Purple Tie squad guys have been known to scout the fireworks stores just across the border in Erie, PA (particularly near July 4th), and then stop and arrest people w/ NY plates after they cross back into NY on the I-90, or Routes 5 and 20.

Besides, there is no law preventing buying ammo out of state right now. It's not illegal to possess like fireworks are.

NYS Senator Dan Stec (District 21) publicly stated that buying any NY legal long gun in Vermont, for example, and bringing it back to NYS is legal after the new laws take effect in September. I can’t presume that ammo would be a problem, either. I’m not a senator, elected official law dog, law man or lawless, I’m only passing along what a Senator told me directly, in person.

True, but they did that when fireworks were ILLEGAL in NY. They may still do it, but only because many types of fireworks are STILL ILLEGAL in NY.

Ammunition is NOT ILLEGAL. Nor is the posession of it in large quantities, transporting it, or it's purchase in another State. Any search of a private person's vehicle based on the suspicion that it contains ammunition purchased in a different State is illegal and unconstitutional. Any search that found ammunition purchased in another State could not be prosecuted, as there is NO LAW preventing such. Any trooper asking to search your car ( if they ask, they don't have probable cause) should be told NO. They can go screw themselves.

Getting a CT non resident permit is almost painless through the mail and opens up ammo purchases in adjacent CT.

BTW, TSUSA has a brick and mortar affiliate not far off Route 84 where you can pick up orders if you have to drive around anyway. It will save you shipping time, shipping cost, FFL fee, and the new $10 NYSP fee.

Sales tax, however, would go to CT instead if her royal highass.

With that thought, We should process the paperwork to document the NYGUN religion and soon apply for a sales tax exemption numbers for the supplies needed for our religious ceremonies.

What if the Seneca Nations opened a store that sold ammunition ? Tax free, NYS regulation free. Right next to the tax free cigarettes and gasoline. Not only would that stick it to Albany ( which the Seneca Nations LOVES to do ) , but it would be rather convenient. The Oneidas and any others could easily do the same. There are Indian run casinos all over NYS. They just need to open ammunition stores in them. How awesome would that be ?

Ok that’s fine and I’m sure you’re correct. Keep in mind the simple possession of some fireworks in NYS are illegal so if they walk up to the car and they are in plain sight then bam you’re in trouble. The same can not be said for ammunition.

That’s great but I just checked and it’s an eight hour drive one way for me and 300 miles each way. Good for guys that are closer and I never go that way for anything n

Been saying this for a few years now. They would get 100% of all my ammo purchases and I would bring friends and family with me. They have my support and judging by how fast the weed dispensary popped up they could have ammo shops up by weeks end.

The other problem comes when they don't arrest you, but they seize your property, and make your life very difficult to get it back.

I have actually been suggesting that idea for years. They need to open drive through stores where the entrance and exit cannot be observed from off of their land. Pull in and load up on Ammo, Beer, and Cigarettes, - (a true ABC store if you will...), have them load up your trunk, and as Jackie Gleason used to say: ...And Away We Go!
