Today it was a pallet and a half, about 200 cases, of Federal 308 Gold Medal Match. All headed to the Criminal Investigation Division of a sheriff's department in NJ

sad as it is, I've been buying partial boxes, usually missing a couple rounds....won't sell them in the Shop, but will at the Gun Shows.
At least I won't get so pissed off at the yahoos that tear open a box of ammo just to see what's inside....WTF people, do you go into the Grocery Store or other Shops and open packages just to see what's inside? really pisses me off when they don't buy it: "Oh, I don't shoot this caliber, I just wanted to see what the bullet looks like."

Gander in Hamburg has a fair amount of 9mm 115gr JHP in stock. Most I've ever seen there

Just stopped into cabelas and they had a bunch of hertiers 115gr 9mm for 16.99 a box of 50. They also had some 380acp, 45acp and 10mm plus a bunch of different rifle calibers. Not much for shotgun surprisingly

They have about 20 boxes left of 115gr JHP 9mm. The guy said the entire gander corporation is getting out of guns and firearms. Corporate just decided that on Monday. So they will essentially just stop carrying once their purchased inventory is gone
However, alert to anyone looking for knives they have a lot of stuff at 50% off. I just got a Gerber strongarm for 35$

I picked up 2 Winchester white box 333 packs of .22 at Wally world today. Woo hoo!
I don't understand how people are getting ammo at Walmart. Mine just must suck. They stopped carrying ammo over a year ago and no longer stock it. Other merchandise is now where the ammo used to be. Workers said they no longer sell it as a corporate decision.

Most of the workers are differently abled and lie. I guarantee upper management is not briefing the ammo counter guy on corporate strategy. Your store might have stopped selling ammo, but others are still at it.
I drive around all day for work. If I have to stop and take a leak, I'll stop at Walmart and walk by the ammo counter while I'm there. As a bonus, I enjoy pissing on Walmart.

It could easily be a corporate decision to no longer sell ammo at that particular store.
i.e. the decision was made by executives at corporate headquarters, but only effects some stores.
