Andrew Cuomo’s trip to Cali fuels presidential buzz

Gov. Cuomo’s fund-raising trip to California on Tuesday won’t quiet the buzz about him running for president in 2020.

After a breakfast in San Francisco with Silicon Valley titans such as Chris Larsen, Munjal Shah and Bitcoin backer Ben Lawsky, the former New York state financial services chief, Cuomo will head to LA.

Jeff Shell, chairman of Universal Filmed Entertainment Group, and his wife, Laura, are opening their Beverly Hills home to fellow Hollywood heavyweights Bob Iger, Les Moonves, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Jim Gianopulos and Stacey Snider.

“These are the same people who supported Hillary the last time around. They are the Democratic establishment in California,” one Dem told me.

This puts Cuomo in the top ranks of potential candidates along with Terry McAuliffe, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and his nemesis, Mayor Bill de Blasio.
