I would say that yes, using more than 90 grains of w231 would not be advisable.I guess my question is, is there a problem if I go over 90 grains of Winchester 231? (5.8 grams) I'm not trying to get into the Reloads in your carry gun are a bad idea legally. It will certainly be used against you in court questions, but in a SHTF situation, I can barter.

Its still an accurate load. You just have to work harder for it.It is very accurate out of a s&w k38 Target masterpiece, but not as good from a smith 686 or 36
Yea its awesome in the k38, those other 38s will never rival it. So i will use the ammo to practice with the bullseye machineIts still an accurate load. You just have to work harder for it.
Nice, I use 3.0 in my target loads with 158gHey my dads and “the classic” bullseye target load with 148g hbwc is 2.7 w231. I have loaded and shoot thousands of this recipe. Very soft snd accurate
