Marine Cpl
.577 Tyrannosaur.
I guarantee that prints. At least it did on me. It's too high.

It's never been an issue. When drawing, the gun clears the belt line basically parallel to the plane of the abdomen. For you minimalist holster people how is the draw for that style holster? I would be worried about the front sight catching on the draw.

You said you wouldn't tell!Yea but some guys around here wear frilly underwear.

I don't know why you think it would snag. I wear mine really low in the pants. I've never had or even thought I would have an issue of snagging. You said you wouldn't tell!
I see there some versions that now have some kydex up to the belt line. It really might be a non issue but I think I would get the model with extra kydex just in case.
Look at the one I linked in. There's no kydex on the front of the holster to protect the front sight on the draw. Yours has that feature.I haven't had coffee either. Maybe I'm calling my holster a "minimalist" when it isn't?
Anyway, here is another plus for appendix carry. Try carrying 4 o'clock with a backpack on while hiking. I'm doing that later on today.
That's the style that originally grabbed my attention but I think my gut is too big to hide it. I'm not leaning towards a smaller iwb and separate magazine carrier on the other side.Interesting concept on this holster. It runs not only the "Claw" but also some sort of padding on the backside to push the slide inward. Expensive though. I wish I had the Claw on mine as well.
I see what you are saying now. Mexican carry your unloaded gun without a holster at home and see if it snags. It might not unless you wear tight pants.Look at the one I linked in. There's no kydex on the front of the holster to protect the front sight on the draw. Yours has that feature.
It might be a non issue IDK. They have a different version that seems to address this concern.I see what you are saying now. Mexican carry your unloaded gun without a holster at home and see if it snags. It might not unless you wear tight pants.
I just lost my gut. Well most of it. Carrying at 12 o'clock, you need a flat stomach. I was never able to do it. It printed and was unusable while sitting. That's the style that originally grabbed my attention but I think my gut is too big to hide it. True. I will only be drawing when it's necessary, so I don't mind the hassle of reholstering afterward. That part is the least of my concerns.Only reason I went away from these is the fact there is no reholster ability if you ever have to draw the gun

Training with it is a necessary chore that I deal with.
I keep one in the pipe, and my primary carry gun is a Glock. So all I have to do is reholster, if the threat passes. Until I am confident that the threat has passed, I am keeping my gun at the ready. No monkeying with the magazine, or stripping off of chambered rounds. YMMV based on your particular setup.Again still most times a gun is drawn in self defense there is no shoot aggressor disengages.
So now you then have to drop the mag, strip the round that is chambered, put the holster back on then reload your gun. At any point the reason you initially pulled the gun for could notice and re engage
I mean it's your money your choice of gear so have at it, I own one of the raven, it's in the box of holsters that I don't use

Ordered w claw.
W/ Shipping total of $47.
I guess they have changed their instructions. When I got my vanguard it specifically said they don't recommend attaching the holster to the gun while it is loadedWhy are we dropping the magazine and stripping a round?
What did I miss?
Says "status changed. Awaiting shipment."
First video is pure nonsense. Really? Who here does any of the drivel he spews by accident? It can happen in any position if you are a dumbass. Some AIWB food items for thought:
I don't think its nonsense at all. NDs do most frequently occur during the reholstering. He is not saying to not carry AIWB but simply points out the risks, consequences and some possible techniques and things to keep in mind to mitigate that risk. When you get so cocksure that nothing can go wrong, thats when you'll blow your balls off. And thats the best case scenario. Never, ever make the assumption that you are too experienced or skilled to allow something to go wrong. Crazy, crazy shit happens everyday to all sorts.First video is pure nonsense. Really? Well maybe you can. I'd have to use the techniques in the second vid, and my line of sight into the holster may, uh, be "obscured" some. Valid point though. In my opinion that's the best part about appendix carry. You can watch the gun go all the way down into the holster unlike 4 o'clock Carry
