Either way, different rules and laws for different classes of people in the US.
I hear all the time on this forum how these different classes of people are wrong in regards to magazines and firearms, is this not the same argument?

It is the same argument. However why be petty to spite the bitter?
Also, not for nothing but right after 9/11 they had us wandering around Ft Sill with unloaded M16s. We didn't even have empty magazines. So at least back then soldiers weren't rolling around armed even in that dire situation.

Not the same when it comes to personal weapons. There is no exemptions in any state.

I wonder if any will ship. The whole deal with government awards via bid is that the losers can contest the selection using the bid protest process, and Glock is doing just that. I have seen Federal bids go on for years due to challenges to GAO selections, as I spent 10 years working in the field of federal contracts. Five bucks says Glock protests directly to the awarding agency (DoD / Army), to the GAO (owner of the funds being disbursed), and to the U.S. Court of Federal Claims (COFC).

45 ACP is subsonic, which makes it an excellent round for noise suppression. That's why Uzi made a Model 45, and why Gordon Ingram created the MAC 10 in 45. Actually - let me take that back. Gordon did 45 ACP because Mitchell Werbell the famous mercenary designed a super quiet suppressor for 45 specifically to fit Gordon's Model 10. My Cobray MAC10 is quieter than a 22 LR by a long shot. I would say it is the same level of sound as snapping your finger. Sadly I can't bring it to NY. ;-( Fucking Cuomo - only asshole on the planet that ignores the Class III laws.
