from what i could make out just about all the rifles were bolt actions .. at least quite a few ..
lower left is a few odd looking pistols .. black powder ?? .. dead center bottom is a musket pistol AW pistol ... might shoot 500 balls a hour LOL ..

The bloke legally registered 9 firearms some time ago. The police recently "stopped by" to perform an "audit" (I guess that's Australian for "Search and Seizure ") and found 109 unregistered/ not approved need firearms as part of a nationwide round up following new more restrictive backroom legislation in Australia.

Apparently he may have been following the law which allowed farmers to keep firearms that they had a "reason" such as hunting, target shooting, protection, collections, etc. Apparently the Australian anti-gun left was unhappy with that and a middle of the night compromise legislation (enacted with back stabbing similarities to the FUAC SAFE act) "NATIONAL FIREARMS AGREEMENT " of 2017 was passed. Now that law enforcement and Austrslian politicians have morphed "reason to own a firearm" to a "demonstated need" to own that has to be approved, more firearms are being round up from remote farmers. There was a one month "surrender for destruction" amnesty window a couple months ago. Apparently they also "audit" with unannounced searches to confirm no one has what the government determines to be a years worth of ammo. It is not suprising to see references to both Soros and Bloomberg providing the Australian anti gun left with financial support.

Of course we all know that the gun laws in Australia are completely absurd. And while it sucks that the guy got caught I applaud him for saying fu to the oppressive gun laws over there. But this is a prime example of where registration will get you. They wanted to perform a routine audit, unannounced, that can happen to any of us with pistol permits at any time.
This happened because the people of Australia wanted this to happen. They were tired of the violence associated with firearms. They never had the "Right" to gun ownership the way we do. The people allowed the Government to dictate what was going to happen to them, the people went along with these deplorable gun laws. If we are not careful, the same will happen here!

Routine Audits in Austalia is a euphemism that can take the form of a full blown storm trooper seige and pillage. Just a steeper incline on the slippery slope down under.

According to some friends down under, there was not widespread support. Australians were divided along liberal progressive urban lines vs conservative rural lines. There were compromises in the initial bans for rural conservatives, ranchers, farmers, hunters, sportsman, collectors, etc and in predictable fashion the left just used it as a starting point, thus the new 2017 more restrictive laws and renewed gun grabs. I contend it already started here with similar political alignments and division. The left lies with self righteous indignation, way too many politicians are blood sucking leeches with little loyalty to their constituents, there is a slippery slope, there are often financial connections between anti gun movements to well funded globalists, compromise always screws those on the correct side of an issue, and it is about taking away your guns.

Did you want Cuomo to do what he did in 2013, did I, did any of us here? The obvious answer is no. I don't know Australia very well, but we all know that New York City controls New York State and the Crooked politicians that are controlled by New York City stole our rights. I Can Only Imagine it would be somewhat similar there.
Just because laws are passed does not mean that everyone affected by it asked for it or deserves it.
Clearly this man was a collector of firearms and certainly he would not have been asking for that type of gun control.
Not at all doubting any of that. Sorry, my point was that they have no guarantee to own like we do. Small masses of people can take away that which is not protected.
