Wondering if anyone has any experiences with the differences between the two. I just bought a USA made Glock 21 Gen 4 and had slight reservations about it. My reasoning is that out of my 5 current Glock's, 4 are Austrian made and I have never had the slightest issue or hiccup with them at all. Not even close. Nothing. Nada. 100% prefect function each and every time. I've had a few failure to fire with cheap range ammo but nothing to attribute to the gun.
My 5th Glock is a USA made 43. I had quite some trouble with it not wanting to feed hollow point ammo in 124gr. I finally got it to function pretty well with 147gr. Once in a while when chambering a round it will get caught up however whether I hit the slide release or whether I slingshot the slide back by hand and release.
From what I've read, Glock says the USA made models are exactly the same made with the same parts and by the same machines that are programmed by the same people that set up the machines in Austria.
I'm wondering what your real world experiences are, if any. Would you feel just as good about a USA made Glock as you would an Austrian made one?
I'll hang up and listen....
