Assuming it's also been proven capable of 10's of thousands of rounds down range without a parts breakage. I also like long term tests. That zero 1 could be a pos after a few thousand shot. I doubt it though.

That guy MAC toured their factory. Before they leave the factory, each gun is placed in a machine that pulls and releases the slides back multiple times.
They come broken in from the factory. I think it was in his Remington video.

A friend of mine got a lemon and it took them 1 year to send a new barrel.
Another got a problem with the shotgun and ended up giving up and taking it to the local GS.

So are these tests. It's plenty reliable but it might not work after having rocksalt, mud, cinnamon, tartar sauce and sand put in it. Only one will pass that test. There can be only one and I guess it's a sig clone made in eastern Europe (I think).

These tests aren't ridiculous in my opinion. A downed pilot or injured hiker in the wilderness can easily put his gun through those exact conditions minus the tartar sauce.

They are what they are.
For example, extreme cold weather testing up to 80 degrees below zero might never be replicated in real life but it says a lot about the operation in any cold weather after that. In extreme conditions things start to break down and fail so this way they can find out why and perhaps fix it. Every major platform put in service by any major military force has gone though some brutal testing. Stoner himself had to deal with a lot of problems during cold weather testing. (including untrained and incompetent operators)
Over the beach tests are as hard as they can get this inculdes prolonged submersion in salt water, sand and whatever else. Many platforms will tank in here. the glock passes all wiht flying colors.
With all that said some of the things youtubers do is just also for good free entertainment that is what youtube is all about.

Reliability this reliability that. At this point reliability shouldn't even be a point of contention. Reliability should be as standard to a pistol as a trigger. These are simple machines. It's not that hard. If you can't build a reliable gun by now you just suck. Still waiting for something impressive to come out in the pistol world.

Where are you seeing a glock pass the over the beach tests with flying colors? The links here have not shown that. Glocks are plenty reliable but I'm not seeing them pass these tests.

Manual safeties on DA/SA guns are as useless as tits on a bull. No REX for me. I'll take a P226 any day. Just maybe not a Legion. I''m kinda keen on those P220 Elite 10mms though.
