You forgot to mention the other pistols seals carry. Sig 220's, sig 226's 1911's Beretta's none ect. ect. ect. Going from the torture test videos we have seen only one passed. It was not a glock or a sig.IDF Sayeret, FGNE, Navy Seals (Glock 19), among countless others.
You think Mek was there doing the testing? Or has access to the data none of us has? How does he know they passed with flying colors and others didn't? I never said they posted results. They don't have to. I watched a video you posted showing Glocks fail. Just because many countries use a pistol in no way means it did better in testing. It usually comes down performing adequately and the $. Glocks are very reliable but it can't be said they are the most reliable in the world without data to back it up.

The Mk 23 was/is a ridiculous pistol. The concept of an "offensive handgun" is ridiculous.
The gunmaker tested the MK23’s recoil system with over 30k rounds of +P ammunition followed by 6k high pressure proof rounds. After disassembling the gun the Germans found no damage or excessive wear to any of the components.
And they will still carry whatever they want. I'm more interested in seeing the results for the sig320 testing vs the competition.

Precisely my point sir. And I don't hate Glocks. While not my cup of tea I think they are excellent, high quality, high value guns. What I hate is the fan boy "not a Glock" mentality. Frankly unless it says Remington on the slide I think all the myriad polymer striker guns are just about equal. Get the one that fits your hand the best and has the minutiea detail features you like best.
Nah, I don't think it's even close. The CZ is the connoisseur's choice, the Glock is a true Volkspistole.
I don't hate them. I think Gaston is a scumbag but I think it's a fine pistol. The guy in the video carries a shield now by the way.
The 75 is the most copied pistol in the world.
You got your Swiss clones and your Italian clones basically two companies. There are numerous derivative designs yes, but the the CZ 75 is itself derived from the Hi Power. I think the 1911 is the most copied pistol out there. But if we compare a single company's output I think Gock dwarfs everybody else by now. Well maybe not Colt if we count all the company's historic iterations as one.
Okay, good for you. Many other pistols are simple and work as well. Me? I don't like to duplicate designs in my collection. Once I have one of a manufacturer I look to another for my next purchase. For instance I really, really like my PPQ but If I want a full size I'm looking at maybe a P320, the RX red dot version even just be extra different. For a range toy there is the Q5 match but I'd rather have a CZ, like a shadow, or a nice 1911, say a Dan Wesson Valour. I know many folks like to collect all models of a make but to me all that similarity is boring.
