A buddy and I were talking about everything that's going on, and we've deduced that the general public needs to be scared shitless (maybe a couple times) by International "things" before they'll wake up and realize why it's crucially important for America to have a strong military, but also people in office that are for the people -- not against them.
For those that know what I'm referring to, with the current tensions abroad, it could very well happen. I can certainly guarantee that it will make COVID, BLM, Rittenhouse, etc look like a little pimple. Some of those countries have a much better arsenal then we do, and it's already been flexed. Some know that the US has their drawers down to their ankles they are just waiting for the opportune time to pounce.
Where I'm going with this is, when I was a kid, my dad used to yell at me and whip my butt... but man did that straighten me up! If I fell lean to it/be naughty, he'd do it again till I was a perfect little angel. It worked, and it worked well! Why? Cause I was scared shitless of a leather belt and getting yelled at. If he did it today, it would be considered child abuse... I am grateful for that man that I call my dad.
I would feel much more safer as a person living in this nation if we had more people standing up against our already tyrannical dictators and more focus on using the people to secure the nation. Imagine if everyone was like a majority of us on this forum? -- No one would want to even want to cross that line internationally or most importantly within our own nation.

I’m not sure how they work it but pay starts off low and jumps fast in the state system usually.
I started off in the mid 40’s a few years ago and I’ve gotten $20,000 in raises. Plus the time off and schedule are worth another $20,000 to me. I’ve had a few weeks off this year and still have 40-45 vacation days left.

It's official now. After rumours that Canada was going to push the date back, they are in fact going with the original Jan 15 deadline. I received an informational flyer about it when I crossed into Canada this morning.
Checking the postings on Indeed this evening, I found several that are paying very well and sound interesting to me. I also noted a posting from my current employer, obviously looking for a replacement for me......good luck !

SCOTUS needs to step in and say these vax mandates are unconstitutional and scrap all of it. If they were smart enough, they should look at ways of encouraging businesses to go back to "normal". This country needs it. This really is the last breath.
