Because that won't stop Tish from trying to bury them in legal feesif that’s the case then why would any out of state company go along with this?

Contrasts with Mark Serbu's treatment of the NYPD.LE exemption is bullshit. Cut them off as well.
I had two Dillon presses, with 8,000 small pistol primers, 5,000 large pistol primers, 1500 mag, primers 6400 155gr FMJ projectiles, 3000, 40cal cases and 4 other calibers, 30-30, 44 mag, 45-70 and 380 (9mmshort) and about 30 (total) pounds of different powders. sold it all to my BIL (in a free state) so we can both use them when ever I'm in the area and I need more ammo.I am glad I got into reloading when reloading wasn't cool. Only ammo I ever really buy is 22LR. I sitting on a pile of them for the time being. Worse case just have some sent from an out of state friend. As for reloading components, they haven't touched them (yet). Just placed an order last week from Powdervalley for some more powder...will be at my doorstep hopefully tomorrow.
What legal fees? Just ignore anything NYS sends you if you are an out of state business. What is Tish going to do send the NYS Troopers out of state to arrest someone?Because that won't stop Tish from trying to bury them in legal fees
Not the same...the NYS police can arrest a NY resident in state. As far as I know they can’t go and arrest someone out of state especially for something like this.Same reason we don't throw the 2nd Amendment in the governments face and own what we want.
Because vendors will still have to pay lawyers to determine what to do.What legal fees? Just ignore anything NYS sends you if you are an out of state business. What is Tish going to do send the NYS Troopers out of state to arrest someone?
They won’t, just ignore anything NYS sends you. They have no police powers out of state. If I am wrong maybe an attorney can chime in.Because vendors will still have to pay lawyers to determine what to do.
They sue them. It's not a criminal thing.Serious question.....what legal teeth does NYS have to go after an out of state company? What can NYS do if the company were to just ignore them?
There's also the occasional road trip option.FU TSUSA
I absolutely refuse to have to give my name , address , phone # and occupation just to by a little ammo , so It looks like rolling my own is the only option left in this shithole commie state. Good thing I’m well on my way to doing that now and adding more calibers as I go.
They will get a judgment, then they can seize assets. What legal fees? Just ignore anything NYS sends you if you are an out of state business. What is Tish going to do send the NYS Troopers out of state to arrest someone?
If you could avoid a judgement in a lawsuit by just leaving the state there would be a lot fewer lawsuits, and a lot richer ex husbands. They won’t, just ignore anything NYS sends you. They have no police powers out of state. If I am wrong maybe an attorney can chime in.
Unfortunately the NYAG office has informed major sellers that reloading components ( specifically bullets ) can not be shipped directly to a residence so some suppliers (who were notified in the 39 threat letters) stopped selling primers, brass, and bullets directly to NYS residents. As for reloading components, they haven't touched them (yet).
They get sued in federal court and get judgements against them. The ammo companies have to pay legal expenses fighting the lawsuit and while the AG’s office has lawyers already on staff.Serious question.....what legal teeth does NYS have to go after an out of state company? What can NYS do if the company were to just ignore them?
They take civil actions in federal court . It would cost a lot of money. Not the same...the NYS police can arrest a NY resident in state. As far as I know they can’t go and arrest someone out of state especially for something like this.
I have not seen that. Any seller posts on their site that loaded ammunition ships to ffl, components they ship direct. What suppliers have done this? The law specifically says "ammunition" not the components.Unfortunately the NYAG office has informed major sellers that reloading components ( specifically bullets ) can not be shipped directly to a residence so some suppliers (who were notified in the 39 threat letters) stopped selling primers, brass, and bullets directly to NYS residents.
So just exactly what law is she trying to enforce ?? The portion of the Safe Act that Coumo cooked up can't be enforced as NY has no background check system in place and I don't know of any other state that has been able to do it either , California maybe but it's an expensive system to run if possible at all .Unfortunately the NYAG office has informed major sellers that reloading components ( specifically bullets ) can not be shipped directly to a residence so some suppliers (who were notified in the 39 threat letters) stopped selling primers, brass, and bullets directly to NYS residents.
This right here. NY is just intimidating. Interstate commerce laws trump NYS bullshit!Maybe a lawsuit for interfering in interstate commerce against Jabba the Hutt would be in order?

Actually we can complain about them turning into a bunch of bitches. THERE IS NO AMMO BACKGROUND CHECK IN PLACE HERE. Giving your name and address to buy ammo is not a background check. You need to give them your name and address when you buy online so they can ship it to you so they can't even argue that point. They could easily set up a way for you to send a copy of your ID if they really needed it but they decided to cave to the pressure.I posted it on the ammo section and I’m disappointed as well. Can’t blame them too much and glad I did what I did when I did.
That still does not answer my question , we all know how the law was written and without the state having a background check system in place the A/G is just blowing smoke up everyones ass
Yeah, most gun related retailers are. Hell, some gun dealers vote for lefties because it drives up their sales. Fuck all those people, ill never buy from tsusa again. They are sell outs. Especially for giving an exemption to LE.
Me too. But I also shoot out of NY more than in NY.I’m already buying all my ammo out of state, in person, with cash. Sadly I hate to see options disappear… I was about to place an order with TSUSA for some Arisaka fodder too.
I’m in acquiring-ammo mode, have reduced my consumption significantly. To the point that I actually haven’t burnt any powder in NY in several months… a trend that given current events is likely to continue.Me too. But I also shoot out of NY more than in NY.
Now you're getting closer, she's blowing smoke because she can use our damn tax dollars to sue them out of business for a damn law that doesn't exist.Sure it does. She is blowing smoke, and chilling the market with threats backed with blood money from our taxes, a NYAG abusive practice perfected by disgraced Elliot Spitzer the Sheriff of Wall Street.
