Credit Suisse was listed as the 45th largest bank in the world in December of 2022 according to this, with about $830 billion in total assets:

One of two key architects of the Dodd/Frank Act, which was supposed to prevent bank failures after the 2008 "Great Recession," finds himself without seat on his own bank's Board of Directors after it collapsed shortly after Silicon Valley Bank went bust.

The irony is so thick you can cut it with a calculator. Sodomite Barney Frank, helping Americans take it up the backside since (at least) 2010!

When you have to "borrow" 50BILLION dollars for more liquidity there is a serious serious underlying problem.

This is something I'm completely expecting to get in trouble for at work sooner or later and it might be a hill I'm willing to die on.

I'm noticing more and more email signatures with a "she/her/hers" these are my pronouns
I'm absolutely not going to play along with these pronoun delusions when someone wants to be referred to as they/them or xi/xir. Not going to do it. Its completely insane and people need to stop enabling this.

When you’re a bank yes. Banks do nothing but make money unless they are being horribly mismanaged. I get inflation is doing a bit of a number on them but we saw this coming didn’t we? By we I mean is on this board so why didn’t they see the inflation and cost increases coming, I mean they are smarter than us right? Or did they just buy Joe Biden’s lies.
