.308 Win
I like the idea of a 686 and scope. Good combo. Either way over $1500 for a scope you should be getting serious quality.
Of those two I'd pick North Carolina. Not much going on in PA. I occasionaly consider moving on myself. Its only mere laziness that keeps me in PA now.Have been looking at PA and north Carolina probably. My girlfriend already knows I'm not staying in NY and that's it's for plenty more reasons than just guns. Now it's just a waiting game.
I own a t3x ctr 308 and a t3x lite in 300 win mag. I really like my ctr, haven’t shot the 300 wm. Both are super smooth. My ctr shoots pretty goodI almost voted for that ..... I'm a semi auto fan ..... unless belt fed but different story. I chose the Tika cause you can get what cal shoots your fancy on a budget and yet have a factory precision shooter. 6.5 creedmore is heaven sent for performance ..... whatever you choose for caliber. It's the factory action and trigger that kept me picking it back up off the rack to fondle. Never owned a bolt action or shot a Tika. My opinion is based on multiple pos opinions and my personal GS stock inspections.
I guess I should mention that the standard 20% tax will be witheld along with a $25 fee so what I'm getting is really more like $2500.
Frankly me too, thats why I didn't mention it. FWY they run from around $1500 for a beat one that saw heavy use with French special forces (The GIGN made use of them)Oh I don't doubt it's quality. I'm sure it's everything it's made out to be and more but I can think of better ways to spend that kind of money.
Delta Elite or STI Nitro? I do prefer blued over stainless. Never really liked stainless pistols.Delta Elite 10mm and about a grand worth of ammo.
Neither. Closest 10mm I could find to hitting 3k without going over!Delta Elite or STI Nitro?
Delta Elite or STI Nitro?
Only 10mm I shot was a G20. And like all Glocks my reaction to the G20 was "meh".I have shot the Delta Elite, my buddy has one. Can’t speak for the STI.
Buds has the new 3 inch 586 in stock.Delta Elite or STI Nitro? I do prefer blued over stainless. Never really liked stainless pistols.
In fact I'd prefer the S&W 586 but the 7 shot version was a limited run and is hard to find.
I just shot a Glock 20 today. I forgot how much of a brick the grip is!Only 10mm I shot was a G20. And like all Glocks my reaction to the G20 was "meh".
Nice gun, subtle, not overly blingy which I appreciate. See above about the taxes though, working with more like $2500 now that I think about it.Neither. Closest 10mm I could find to hitting 3k without going over!

If you change your mind go with the colt special combat gov. in .45 or .38 super. I have one and it's a tank. Never an issue.Nice gun, subtle, not overly blingy which I appreciate. See above about the taxes though, working with more like $2500 now that I think about it.
I've driven past Bud's in Knoxville 4 times this week, lol!Buds has the new 3 inch 586 in stock.
That was also my impression as well. I actually owned one for a while. Never shot it much due to the mehness.I just shot a Glock 20 today. I forgot how much of a brick the grip is!
The idea behind a 10mm 1911 is to scratch two itches with one gun, I want a 10mm gun and a 1911. But I don't necessarily have room in my collection for two guns that satisfy these needs separately. In particular I really have little interest in the .45ACP cartridge. And .38 super, while a spiffy round IMO, is too niche to find much of these days.If you change your mind go with the colt special combat gov. in .45 or .38 super. I have one and it's a tank. 357 SIG?.38 Super
I like the 10mm over the .38 Super. Especially given the former's resurgence.Nahh .... I like 1911s.

I wouldn't think less of 10mm. Just not my first choice. I like it though.
Well there is the old bugaboo of the Delta Elites not really being up to handling the abuse of the 10mm, or has that been solved by now. That’s why I like the Delta Elite. Only thing I can say is buy factory mags, we had problems with aftermarket mags feeding properly. Got some failure to feed issues.
You can get them in .357 sig.Nahh .... I like 1911s.
