Nobody is saying there isn't a virus abound. I don't buy into the hype though for two main reasons.
1. We are getting our information from those who are working in a paradigm that is the third leading cause of death in the US. Over 200,000 people a year I believe.
2. When I see things like this pretty frequently. A young lady who has Lyme and had been going to a Lyme "specialist" for over a year. Rounds of Doxycycline. Still a mess after all of this time. Comes to me and I start working with her. After 6 weeks she sends me this email:
"Hi Dr. XXXXXX,
I hope all is well with you! I am thrilled to report I have already been feeling an incredible difference--I am more energetic and in a better mood nearly all of the time, and just re-joined my gym yesterday after a more than 6-month hiatus! I am truly already so grateful, and am excited to keep the momentum going!"
Second case like this in a few months. The other girl was being impacted neurologically. Besides headaches and body pain, she was experiencing anxiety, depression and panic attacks for one year. Her "specialist" said she was Lyme free so they referred her to a psychiatrist who recommended putting her on prozac. The parents didn't want to and were going to hospitalize her because they didn't know what else to do. They were referred to me and in 6 weeks according to her mom 99.9% of her issues had cleared up.
So you see, I have a very hard time listening to those who are currently running around like chickens without a head spouting research and data on something they don't even understand.

Hey, I am not trying to upset anyone and cause anyone to leave the conversation. I am not saying people with underlining conditions shouldn't be concerned. All I am trying to say is that the gov is overreaching and not tell us the truth. Everyone should indeed do what is best for them.
As I always say, my wife is tired of hearing it, do what you can afford.

Nobody is saying the drugs can't "work." It comes down to what your definition of work is. Anti biotics drive the Lyme spirochete deeper into the body or cause it to burrow. Symptoms can disappear. Problem is it's like sweeping dirt under the rug. Everything looks good but push around the rug and the dirt fly's again. This is why they tell you once you have Lyme you'll always have it. The symptoms are suppressed enough but when your defenses are down, stress is up, etc.. it rears its ugly head again. I have seen this with patients time and time again. One of the reasons I got into this type of work is because my wife had Lyme 13 years ago. We chose not to do the drugs and it was totally cleared out of her body. I saw the value in what was accomplished and decided to learn how to help people in the same way. They say things happen for a reason. Looking back now, her having this challenge was one of the best things that could have happened for us. As far as what I do I would be happy to share it with you one on one any time. I get enough shit on here for trying to give health information out lol.

Half the medical professionals say that "gun violence" is an "epidemic"that needs "drastic action, civil rights be dammed" to combat too.
Also, a lot of people will claim any conclusion with big words and a lot of math is "scientific". Many are not. Unless they can explain how the scientific method was applied to reach that conclusion it is not scientific. Also, scepticism is the backbone of science, so anyone criticizing scepticism is themself being unscientific (as long as it is reasoned scepticism).
While "experts" are usually the best place to go for advice on a topic, their advice should always be tempered with healthy scepticism and common sense. Most of the largest blunders in history were perpetrated by "experts".
The reaction to this virus may go down in history as one of them.
Remember also, many of the "foolish and backwards" ideas of the past that we point and laugh at were the "modern, expert, scientific solutions" of their time. What ideas do we have now that will be looked on in 100 years the way we do "blowing smoke up someone's ass".
