Cuomo Planning Major move against gun owners starting next week

Has anyone else heard that emperor Cuomo plans on instituting a major attack against gun owners starting next week? I've heard an expanded safe act, 100 SP investigators that report directly to him, internal affairs to monitor the social media accounts of troopers that speak out against him. There's even some talk about door-to-door visits by the state police. Has anyone else heard anything like this? I don't wanna start any rumors, just wondering if what I have heard, anyone else may of heard also? I hope it's incorrect!!

My PP “renewal” was due late this year. I got a letter from the purple ties squad (at an address I don’t use for my permit) informing me it was due sometime this year.

I am sad to report that I have complied online. I figured it was better to do it now, as I figure that the Princess and his scumbags in Albany could easily pass more anti gun legislation (like the social media password bill) at a moments notice in the middle of the night.

Hopefully, if they do, it gets struck down by SCOTUS before the next 5 years is up, because there is no way I am giving up my passwords for that grossly unconstitutional proposed law.

Give them your password at the time then immediately change it. You technically complied then immediately followed the advice of IT security experts to prevent unauthorized hacking.

Thank you captain obvious. I knew one of the Internet children would reply like this. The rumor is already circulating in the law enforcement circles -that’s how I found out about it. My post was not to perpetuate the rumor, but see if anyone else had heard about it as well.

The word circulating is that he’s going to start with new anti-gun legislation and at the same time expand the number of people assigned to do gun investigations. once his new law is passed that’s when he is really going to drop the hammer. There’s some other stuff as well, but a lot of it sounds like rumor and the telephone game, so I’m going to leave it out.

If it’s registered what cause do they have to come and get it without passing more legislation? Just asking.

The problem is there are some places (ex boulder colorado) where they first did mandatory registration and then later had to surrender them or move them out of the area. That law has yet to be struck down. Cuomo is creaming himself thinking of doing that or something similar at a state level.

Exactly this. The people I heard from did not have specifics. But my guess would be passing legislation to confiscate the registered guns and go after the registered guns once legislation passes. Again, this is a lot of speculation. I know posting about this, stirs people up. Just trying to see if anyone else has heard anything.
