Wouldnt surprise me if cuomo recieved a pardon or clemency from a subsequent governor, since these are state crimes. Wonder if he has enough on the next governor.

Without reading every post in this thread I'm going to assume the general consensus is that it's a feel good moment he's done, and an ass pucker for the next shitbag liberal Democrat who'll waltz into this office.

Forfeiture of Benefits for Convicted Felons
Under the Public Integrity Reform Act* members convicted of a felony related to their public service may have their retirement benefits reduced or revoked. The law became effective on November 13, 2011, and affects members who join the Employees’ Retirement System on or after this date.
Benefit forfeiture is not automatic. The law establishes a specific procedure with which the district attorney (DA) or the State Attorney General (AG) (whoever brought the criminal charge) must comply:
  1. Following the initial conviction, the DA or AG must commence a separate court action seeking the benefit forfeiture.
  2. We must verify that the convicted official is a member of the Employees’ Retirement System and eligible for retirement benefits.
  3. We must respond within 20 days and, if the official is a member, provide an estimate of the available benefits, if any.
  4. If the official is eligible for benefits, only then can the DA or AG proceed to trial.
  5. Depending on the verdict, the court may issue an order directing us to reduce or revoke the member’s benefits. This order must be served to the Retirement System by the DA or AG before we are mandated to comply.

Well, for starters it should include: no more luxury public housing and amenities (the Governor’s Mansion with pools, servants, food and drink etc.; no more flying around in that fancy new NYS helicopter, or any other NYS aircraft; no more wearing all of those clothes with NY Gov embroidered on them; no more issuing NY Executive orders; no more armed to the extreme NYSP protective details 24/7; no more speeding around the state in trooper driven SUV’s with illegally tinted windows.

He will hopefully be a fuckin pariah. A worthless POS nobody, sitting on bus stop benches while offering bj’s to other homeless bums. And maybe letting them tweak his nipple rings and take selfies of themselves doing it, in return for a cup of coffee…
