Oh. Please.Yes but then you have the small chance of over inserting during a reload or something inducing a malfunction
Oh. Please.
Some police chiefs don't want modifications because they just don't want modifications. Some even prohibit stippling. Some allow it. Some even allow their cops to use their Glock 19 mags on their authorized Glock 26 off duty carry for reloads.
You can use a sleeve to prevent that off chance of failure if you are afraid. Since you're afraid of a 1% chance of some nonsense happening, why aren't You aren't afraid of the off chance that holes in your slide might introduce debris?
Glock just tweaks what they already have for sales. I bet it's extremely rare for some police officer who is issued a Glock 19 to say damn, " I sure wish I had another two rounds in that magazine that pushes against my car seat because I don't carry spares."
Anyway, this back and forth is getting old. It was fun when we started it. It has ran it's course.
Some do. Where is your fact that they all don't? Anyway. You win Edward.Again the police chiefs dont want modifications? So why dont they use extended mags instead of mags with base plates?

You won already Edward. You can't win anymore. You have already have gotten your trophy.Where is your facts that they are running 17 mags in G19s?

That would be a Glock 17. Correct.Funny I tossed the towel in a while ago but will just wanted to keep going. And all I was trying to do in here was show why an agency would want a full size gun
That would be a Glock 17. Correct.
The Glock model nomenclature has become incomprehensible.
There is really no need for separate model numbers for each caliber. It was simple until the 45 came out

This says it has G17L slide. The ability to take a G19 (or "G45" slide if wanted.
It's a G45 size frame with either the G17 size slide or G34 size slide I cant tell.
This says it has G17L slide.
One of the pics here has a CBP plate. Now that would be cool to have.
