Had a friend who went and was tear gassed close to capitol building. He said ANTIFA was dressed as maga and were the people who pushed their way in past the police. He also said he watched as police slid gates aside and purposely let other ANTIFA in from another direction. This was all a set up to cause chaos and make trump and maga look bad. We are at war people!!!!

I had a much longer post planned but I'll add in short my two cents. Read it or not. Agree with it or not. Take it for what it's worth.
Regardless of whether it was Antifa agitators or actual MAGA folks who stormed the Capitol (personally I think it was a combo of the two) this is playing right into the libs hands. They got the optics they wanted and now they can trot out images of people ransacking congressional offices whenever anyone has a legitimate call for law and order. And to what purpose? Does anyone honestly think that Trump wasn't going to leave office on January 20? If he had a real trick up his sleeve he should've played it long ago. I'm very pissed about this.
I'm also pissed at the hypocrisy. The mainstream media calls this a riot (which I would agree that it was) but refuse to call what happened in Portland and other US cities last summer riots. I'm also pissed that they called those "protests" what you get when you ignore those with legitimate grievances. I would say the exact same thing about the events of yesterday.
I also want to lay some (perhaps a lot of blame) at the feet of Donald Trump. While I agree far more with his platform than I would with any Democratic platform the man is a certifiable ass who if he had come across as just ever so slightly presidential we could have avoided what happened yesterday, probably kept the Senate, and maybe even kept the presidency. But he couldn't help himself. He just had to run his mouth and act like a wannabee strongman. I know that's part of his appeal but I am certain that is what cost him the presidency. And frankly, it's cost all of us a lot more.
What are we going to get out of this? One party rule who will be able to pass whatever they want. Frankly, I don't think they will because the more moderate Dems will get into fights with the far-left progressives and be unable to compromise, but I guarantee you we'll see more gun control, probably in the form of a nation-wide SAFE Act (I welcome it actually...let the rest of the country see what happens when rights are violated in one state). We'll probably also see open (or more open) borders, single-payer health, increased spending that will be paid for by tax increases and deficit spending just sending us further down the chute to insolvency.
We're in for an awful hurt for at least the next two years (we'll see what happens during the mid-term elections). Our Republic teetering on the edge if not dead already. And the worst part of all this: it didn't have to be this way.

I attended Tea Party rallies on the capitol grounds in 2011 and 2012. They were large marches. Wall to wall packed crowds on the capitol grass. Everyone was peaceful, reading each other's signs, taking pictures, and listening to speakers. Marchers greeted police, took pictures with police, and waved to the special unit officers high up on buildings. At the end of the day, the grounds were cleaner than before the rally. On the way back to the metro stations, people again shook hands with the D.C. police in the area.
I cannot believe that the group that I marched with morphed into a violent mob. The demographics of the group I was with just didn't fit. Most people I marched with appeared to be in the 30-60 year old age bracket. Sure, some were younger and some were older. But, they did not fit the Antifa 20-something demographic that we saw as the vanguard group assaulting the capitol on 1/6/21.

As far as finding someone to lay the blame of this mess to the feet of, I cannot disagree stronger with you that it lies at Donald Trumps feet. I will forever be grateful for what he has done as President. He was attacked day in and day out but all sides because he bucked the norm, no sir, he is NOT to blame.

The establishment will use or create any excuse they wish to justify their tyranny. Stop focusing on conspiracies, start planning out how we will throw off these shackles.
