I was never a big fan of trump but I thought him a necessary evil against Dems, and largely agreed with his policy. I also thought he was America first but he isn’t; he is trump first, second, and so on. The last two months have been so egregious it is apparent to me he is indeed patent unfit for office and a disgusting smear upon the country. A carnival barker on meth. It’s likely too late now. If this were six months ago I could see them doing this. I suppose only so much damage he can do in two more weeks and on the up side it’s apparent that he is doing all he can now to shed his supporters. Some would die for him but many are coming back to the light. The fog is lifting . The silliness with Cruz et al looks like it got a gut punch today and helped shake some out of their trance.

He riled up the crowd today, said he’d walk on the capital, and instead got back in his motorcade and ran away.

Correct, I do hope they see this as a shot across the bow. If Dems try anything stupid imagine that crowd armed. I want to see them Pass a national AW ban and confiscate now. I truly think the Dems over played their hand with all the socialist Bullshit and the republicans are guilty of implementing a police state and right restrictions on different levels ever since 911 with the patriot act. Does anyone remember "Jesus Giuliani well he implemented stop and frisk in a big way lowered crime but created an entire generation who looked at police like the gestapo that they are. It was bad policy and we are seeing where it got us now.

I don't look at this unrest as bad. Its a wake up call and if politicians don't listen patriots will direct the attention to those who deserve it. Notice all these "right" demonstrations and protests focused on government buildings. No burning the streets or looting sneakers and TVs. Its not an insurrection to protest government.

You don't destroy your neighborhoods.

From a friend of a friend who was AT the Capital PEACEFULLY PROTESTING when it was hijacked by thugs.
“We had no signals..WE ARE ALL OK..We were on the front line, the group that stormed the Capital and were tear gassed repeatedly.. shot at with rubber bullets. WE HELD OUR GROUND!!! Now making our way out of DC..MANY photos to come!!!! Understand this was NOT the Patriots that entered the building!!! We stood our ground with protests.. prayers and songs...It was NOT our people that broke in!!!!”

Well put. Unfortunately many people don’t agree with this assessment. Trump could care less about America, the GOP or the Constitution. Probably doesn’t even know the Constitution. He’s gonna burn it all down on the way out and we will pay for it for decades. I voted for him twice. Because there was no alternative. I always convinced myself I was voting for a platform not a person. With the GOP divided and in shambles, it will be a long road to recovery.

We should be mad at the GOP not praising them. Without their fuck fuck games paving the way Trump would never have been president. This state of being is mainly our fault with 50% responsibility split between DNC and RNC. Trump is a symptom, not the disease.
