For the life of me how one county can deny a unrestricted permit on the same grounds that another county will issue one is in itself a clear indication of arbitrary, capricious requirements which is very much illegal.

Federal Judges in the 2nd circuit should be found guilty of treason.

Just a few clicks south of you in Columbia county they issue unrestricted ccw to all but felons.

Eventually somebody who was denied will be killed by a criminal, and the surviving spouse will hold the judge responsible.

Having gotten my first pistol ever in PA while in college (no permit required) then moving back to NY and getting a permit there and now back in PA(for good) I must say. This stuff is INSANE.

Get a lawyer and fight for your rights.
These goons should be held liable due to their negligence should anything bad happen to a person after being unlawfully left disarmed.

That is what the OP eventually said, yes. She's had her permit for over a year and was asking to have restrictions lifted.

I'm glad I live in a different state all together. I was going to suggest what Will said about just saying the hell with it and carrying anyway but that gets a bunch of people panties in a bunch. If your own job is requesting that you get a carry permit (in NY of all places) that should tell the douche nozzle of a judge something.

That all depends, did the job say they are givening her permission to carry at work or are they asking as part of her job. There are things that can be done to change this but it will never happen.

Yeah, but they pull your permit and you lose your 2A rights. They take everything, not just the handguns. How someone's rights can be held in a sense, at ransom, is beyond me.

All I'm saying is that getting caught carrying outside of your restrictions, depending on your judge, could result in having your permit suspended or revoked. Again, very much depending on your judge. No, you wouldn't have broken ANY law by doing so. However, having your permit revoked now results in the confiscation of your handguns AND longguns.

How "AND" longguns"? They don't need a permit. They have nothing to do with permitted pistols. Also, you don't lose your 2A rights. You just lose the ability to carry in NY. If you moved to another state you would still be able to buy handguns. And rifles for that matter as you never committed a felony.

I was blown away with how simple and fast it the process was. PA may as well go Constitutional Carry.
