So many agencies, bureaus, departments, boards, councils, groups, offices, divisions, clearing houses, enforcements, reviewers, inspector generals, inspectors, administrations, etc etc..........that employ 2 million deep staters.................you cannot get thru the list I linked above.

Call me cynical but I don't see this affecting matters much. DOGE can provide recommendations but only congress can cut spending. The republicans have very bare majorities in both houses. Just a few rinos can prevent any cuts. The vast majority of those corrupt assholes "representing us" know that cutting spending is a quick way to lose the next election. Their job is to bring home dollars from the federal trough not stop them.
There will be a shame game to pressure congress to enact the cuts but if there is one thing I do know is the gang of 535 is shameless.

In 2007, when I was deployed, I was getting $180 Per Diem. Put on a new roof on the house and gutted/redid my kitchen.
When I was with the Sheriff's department, Per deim was $125.
Not exactly accurate. Kind of us. They do control the purse strings, but the executive branch has lots of power in regards to hiring and firing.

I bet the administration costs for, let's say Social Security, are at least equal to the payout to recipients. I wouldn't be surprised if they were more like 5-10x though.
If people knew exactly what each of their tax dollars went to, they would want blood. Food stamps/EBT doesn't sound as wonderful when only $0.10 of every $1.00 is actually feeding some poor kid.
