Held a Glock 19x todsy real fast at the gun shop.

Didnt "hate" it, dont love it but the finish on it makes it a good looking gun. And as a military/duty style gun I do understand the commander size

so for daily carry i would deff. choose the 19 over it any day of the week, i do actually like the color of it. not a fan of the ambi slide lock/release, front of the grip at the bottom to make it longer for no real reason, and the lanyard loop (thats an easy fix)

trigger feels like a glock trigger i dont see any improvement, the sights are nice but id like to see the price tag a little lower and keep the standard trash sights since i would prefer that and put what I want along with an RMR

but again i see the use as a duty/military gun, but i dont see this version as a "collectors version" since its not even the actual MHS version since its missing the thumb safety

get rid of the stupid part at the bottom front of the grip and i would hate it even less

I agree but they work so that's why I like them. I don't buy nickel plated hammers with fancy designs on them either.

My hammers stay in a toolbox and my Glock stays in a holster. I never really unholster it to look at it and admire it's curves or lack of curves.

Just busting balls but at the same time, it's true for me.

Oh if it I was to waste money on a 19x (it would be a waste for me because I have no practical use for it) o would chop that part off the same day I get it home.

since my hand fits comfortably on a 19 grip there is not need for a 19x to hold 10 rounds. The guy who owns the one in the pic has huge hands so for him it makes sence

I was able to shoot one a few weeks ago. One of the guys at a local range had one and offered to let me shoot it. Two takeaways from it. One, it was weird having so many rounds in one magazine (I think it had 17), and second, it shoots extremely flat. Almost no muzzle flip at all. Felt very different while firing. Not bad, just different.

Honestly I haven't found it to be much of an issue for me. Those Pierce Gen 5 floor plates do make the grip more comfortable too.

I didn't either. I still sold the gun but it wasn't that much of an issue for me.

Its nice, just not sure if they are $7 nice.
But than again I must think so since I am going to get a few more. I'd like them to do some extended baseplates in this style.

The cut out (while I am not a fan of at all) seemed to work just fine on the Gen 2 glocks. I'm wondering if it's the flared magwell and cut out that makes it less comfortable

Its not a big deal either way. Walther has the best solution anyway. No cut outs, just a beveled baseplate.

I rented a G19 a few days ago at a range I noticed as I drove by. It was a Gen 4 though.
The finger grooves exacerbate the Glock knuckle. And I by far prefer the Straight 8s over the stock sights. Trigger didn't seem different though.
