If that is for real, this 5k page bill writing bullshit has to be made illegal. Like straight up, if you can't get the details written out clearly and in laymans terms in 50 pages or less, it cannot even be considered. No bill should be more than 50 pages. And what's more, congress should not be able to sneek unrelated things into a given bill. It should be required that all bills have a definite topic, stay within the scope of that topic and be very specific. So much of this bullshit has to stop.
Yeah, more people voted for Biden lol. This is one of the things I love about Trump.Trump sends back 900 billion dollar bullshit bill from stinking swamp
A friend of mine posted this that was received by one of her clients. They want to cheat again! If they claim people don't vote party, it's harder to see the fraud. Threatening to publish how you vote.

This man is the best President of my lifetime, hands down!Trump sends back 900 billion dollar bullshit bill from stinking swamp
And of the 1/3rd that supported it, probably not too many that were ready to actually kill a government official before April 1775.From what I've read the estimate is that 1/3 of the colonists supported the revolution, 1/3 wanted to remain loyal to britain and the final 1/3 did not care.
And if "doctor" Jill biden wrote about the revolution she would have said another 1/3 were women and minorities.

You've got to pass it first before you find out whats in it... remember that one? Making more sense now...Simple solution.
All bills must be read aloud in their entirety by a member of the legislature on the floor before a vote can be taken.
Write a 5000 page bill and it'll filibuster itself.....
Spidey senses calling BS on the insurection part (yeah I saw the meme) has anybody actually seen this in the bill? Call me jaded...Time for Trump to get this party started. That bloated bill and attempt to prevent him from using the insurrection act are yet another sign of the corruption of DC.

Isn't that the definition of a stool sample? You've got to pass it first before you find out whats in it.....
Why allow the opportunity for someone who wrote a 5k page bill to even read it? Why give them the time. Plus just because they would have to read it out loud, doesn't mean anyone would have to listen.Simple solution.

If it had to be read on the floor (stopping votes on anything else) and by an actual representative (not some intern) They would never make a 5000 page bill. Why allow the opportunity for someone who wrote a 5k page bill to even read it? I hear you but these slimebags always find some way around deterents. They are mostly lawyers and will always find a loophole or technicallity. I say why give them the chance to write a bill, hide things in it and then find a way to pass it? Make things real simple. Strict page number limits on the bill, no hiden or unrelated add ons and it must be clear and legible to even below average people. If it had to be read on the floor (stopping votes on anything else) and by an actual representative (not some intern) They would never make a 5000 page bill.
Can you picture Pelosi spending 12 hours a day for a couple weeks reading a bill to congress and c-span ?
It's a specific penalty that would effect the legislators personally, and would prevent them from rushing anything like this through, *and* would shut down the whole legislature if they tried.
There would be plenty of people interested in dissecting these bills, getting someone to listen isn't the problem. It's making sure they have time to do it and voice their objections before the vote that's important.
This is essentially a speed bump.
The sad truth is that no one in congress reads or has written any bill for the past 25-30 years. All bills are written by lobbyist groups and are waiting on the shelf to be pasted into these mammoth monstrosities. Think about it. Even with a dozen people working 24/7, how long would it take to create a 5,000+ page document? Certainly not a couple of days. People like mcconnell and pelosi negotiate a few high level figures or provisions and then each side desperately tries to slip in as many other items as possible. That's how the system has worked for decades. Why allow the opportunity for someone who wrote a 5k page bill to even read it? Why give them the time. Plus just because they would have to read it out loud, doesn't mean anyone would have to listen.
