I look at it this way. If the situation was reversed and Biden had the lead slip away from him in the same exact fashion as Trump has, as much as I would be glad Trump was winning I would understand why a Biden supporter would be questioning the way things played out. I wouldn't blame them one bit for feeling like something was rotten in Denmark.

Do you think the number of US Senators in each state is a flaw or safety in the Constitution? At some point, IMO, the states should have to consider equal representation from each of their counties. Dynamics in NY, and the rest of the states, would be completely different with that format.

Thus if Biden were to “decide” to step down for “health reasons” sometime in 2022 Harris could potentially serve a full decade as President. Thus Biden would need to hang on until he had served half a term, as dying or otherwise removing himself from office any earlier would disqualify Harris from serving two full terms. That is of, course, assuming the US Constitution is not in complete tatters by that point, an assumption I am not willing to take for granted.
