I see nothing wrong with what the fisherman did. If he was or was not a douche is up for interpretation. (As long as he hasn’t broken the law he’s good to go). He knew the law and exercise his 2nd amendment. People are going based on their emotions and calling cops every time someone open carries. LAW ENFORCEMENT not FEELING ENFORCEMENT. Just because it seem odd or weird doesn’t make it illegal. If more people keep calling the cops every time someone open carries the 2nd amendment will be gone. First they’ll ban open carry then make sure for every firearm you have a permit, then “need special cause to purchase any firearm”

That county ordinance was superseded by this state law passed in 2010. This isn’t his first rodeo on this. He also has a case against Tampa.

So based upon this, and the fact that he wasn't even fishing (yet) leaves me to assume he went there and catered his activity in order to illicit the police response that was recieved. It may be that he is even "known" and has had encounters there before. Of course, more assumption. It's ok, because none of us where there, and all opinions are then valid!
I've been trespassed in Florida, and no matter how many northerners move there, is still a shit hole back-woods redneck State! And the police will use any and every trick in the book to do, get what they want. This guy, in my opinion, is lucky the encounter didn't turn negative.
There's some takes from this though...
He never asked the question if he is being detained! If not, then ok, grab a pole and fish!
His companions, really didn't need to follow unlawful orders to be taken away and questioned. That's some BS right there. No criminal activity, there's nothing to ask. I would have refused to move away from the cameras...
Any order to vacate, would also be unlawful. But once they got him out of the spot, and up to the parking lot, they trespassed him, lmao! By the officers proclamation, they can trespass anyone for any reason? Hahaha, ok!
What would they do? Forcibly remove him?
For failure to come with an unlawful order to disperse or leave a public place for innocuous activity that may have tickled someone's backside because he had a gun?
It is Florida after all, so again, there's something here that's missing... Definitely!

1. The douchbag lieutenant had no right to tell him to turn off his camera. That’s a 1A violation right there.
2. As I posted above, open carrying while fishing has been legal since 2010 despite county ordinances.
3. You cannot be trespassed from public property for conducting a legal activity if no crime is committed. From private property you can but not from public property.
As usual you side with right’s violations despite the actual law that I have shown you. Your trespass posting BS is just that. BS.
