Well it sounds like FN is doing a voluntary recall on the FNS for unintentionally discharging

I dont recall glock having unintentional discharge. I know the big recall was gen 2 .40sw models that glock was on top of pretty fast.. not 12 months later

I only ever knew of the catastrophic failure of the gen 2s but I was also a 90s baby so I don't know all the other issues with gen 1 and 2s

Lmao 2 of those are about Taurus, and well no one should be buying them to begin with.

I've called customer service of six different gun manufactures over the years and always got prompt, effective, free, and friendly customer service. I believe Glock, Sig, Ruger, CZ, Colt, and Walther are great.

FN is doing a recall, correct? So it took a little bit of time, but they are working to correct the issue. I think it takes a little bit of time for a company to truly separate legitimate safety and/or quality issues from consumer chatter.

I haven't had much interaction with FN's customer service, but then again I haven't had the need for such; most of their firearms that I've handled and shot were top quality. Granted, I've really only had experience with their rifles, but I can't see how a pistol coming out of the same factory and QC processes is going to be any less reliable or lower in build quality.

If you have a pistol affected by the recall, send it in for work. If you own another FN product, I wouldn't lose any sleep over whether the company's quality control is slipping...it's not.

There is no service like glock in the firearms industry. They also serve 68% of the law enforcement in this country. In other countries even more.

In the ranges, leagues, forums you see 99% with great experiences and 1% who say they were ripped off.
I don't think there is one company in the world (no matter what you do) that can keep everyone happy.
There are people who are born to be controversial or simply hate a brand or what not.
Nor there is a company in the world that can guarantee everyone who say they are certified they are actually certify or they are trying some
other things in the side and not necessarily just upselling. That is why their TM and IP lawyers are so busy.

So in the remote situation that your glock actually needs servicing (They are so rugged that most of them don't)

Unparalleled service in the industry.
Most people never use it because they are virtually indestructible.
And most people have fun clean in them and learning how to service them and if and when it is time to do some upgrade like a new spring and buffer they options are endless and inexpensive anyway.
In the IDPA leagues I have seen glocks with and estimated 100K rounds through them and glock services them all, even in the most extremes
cases of abuse or neglect.
Like I said, contact glock (or glock users) in your area and they will point you in the right direction.

They say the glocks are the AK of the pistols but they are a lot better than the AK because when it comes to maintenance they are a
modular modern design. The design is so good it has changed how defensive pistols (reliable ones) are made in the last 30 years.

Nothing too fancy about a glock that is for sure, they simply work. It is more like a tool that dispenses bullets than anything else.

I guess why even the Navy seals carry a glock 19.
