SIG is a razor's edge away from becoming as defunct as Remington. I can't believe all the holes they are digging for themselves. I am starting to get to the point where I may refuse to buy any of their products as a matter of principle. With the dormant powder keg that is the M17 contract SIG needs all the positive karma they can get!
And yet the fanboys will defend them tooth and nail as if you are calling out their mother, and if you say anything against sig you must be a glocktard
I used to be a huge SIG fan. I still think the P226 is one of the best pistols ever made.
But SIG has lost the obsessive German drive for quality control.

As a huge CZ fan I think the mpx is a better choice than the scorpion (but doesnt really offer anything over an AR9 build)
The P226/9 is (while overly large) a good looking gun
But it goes back to once Sig set up shop here in the US their QC dropped and is doing so even more at an exponential rate. And at the same time Sig themselves is getting this attitude of "we are sig we are perfect, get over it"
Oh and more on topicish, there is a company offering essentially a now G48 length slide for G43s. And they went on and did this..... because.... reasons...
So you now have a Glock 43, but they made a G19 length slide (they were working on this prior to the 43x and 48 announcment) with the new Aimpoint ACRO P1 now this wouldn't be a bad set up with an RMR or even the Shield RMSc

I don't either. The slide was designed by Victory 1st, and they announced it just before the G48, but it is a G19 lenght slide and barrel combo for standard G43s. But they for some reason designed the slide to work with the new Aimpoint ACRO P1, aim points entrance into the pistol optics

Good news the cold is under control, but last night I had a gout flair up. It was so bad I was about to cut my foot off. Just returned from the doctor with meds so hopefully I will be able get some range time in tonight

I dont think my friend will have that... I could not sleep a wink last night, was at the door of urgent care before they opened. Gave me a script for a steroid and went home went to sleep and woke up able to walk. I feel off for sure but would not leave to go to the range for 3 hours yet.
Well back to the 365 if anyone is interested. I took mine to a MDTS Class today running another 250 rounds through it. Total round count is now over 1000 without any malfunctions. Today was all factory 115 great ball ammo. And the class was great. If you haven't taken a class with Chris you really need to get out and do it.
Made it to the range and the 43X gets 2 thumbs up from me. I have pics and a report to give but may not get to it till tomorrow. I will start another thread for the review. On a side note I was able to shoot the M&P compact 2.0 too.
Where you able to shoot the 43x next to a standard 43 and even a 43 with say an extended 10 round mag?

I think that title of this threat was not so bad after all. Depending on were one like to carry the grip difference would not be as much of an issue. For appendix carry the difference would not matter.

I think size differences are so negligible that it won't matter much iwb under a shirt. Perhaps the grip may stick out a bit but that it. Its tough to tell without direct comparison. I find that the extension in a G26 makes no difference in concealment, its the back of the grip that makes a bigger difference. Of course body type and cloths make a big difference too. Im hope to get to a 43x thread soon still not feeling too great, and want to do a good job.

I found what you are saying to be true too if worn with a minimal FBI cant or none at all. With a heavy, FBI cant, the back of the grip disappears.
Lots of variables for sure, but the shorter grip of the 365 might make the difference for some. Not a true apples to apples comparison the 365 is a pocket pistol and the 43x is not. I have not tried a 43x in a holster yet but if the concealment is good I would sure prefer the full grip. Even if the 43x hides well the 365 would still have a place, the pocket and ankle for starters. In a free state it would have a 2 round advantage also. I will try to stay away from witch one is better because they both have some advantages. I own neither but would like to own both.

Not telling....
I did not shoot the p365 last night so not fair to say. When I shot the p365 I was impressed but the 43X was like WOW. The owner of the 365 was carrying it and was not looking to dirty it maybe next time is will be able to shot both back to back. I will try to do so since the last time I fired a 365 was 3-4 weeks ago and not fair for me to say.
