It's a single stack Glock 19. I don't see what it has to do with the Sig P365. Glock already has one with the 26.
There's no way around it getting longer. It's physically imposible. Just look at what happens when you make a 1911 mag go from 7 to 10.

The grip on that is way too wide for its length. I know you swear by it, but for me (and i may be alone here), it really felt like i was trying to grip a 4" long 2x4. The 365's grip to me was a bit too small circumference wise, so a slightly enlarged 43 may be dead nuts.I don't think this gun will even ever exist. What's the point? Fake news. They already have a 10 Rd gun with the Glock 26.
For me the grip isn't wide side to side. I think it's slightly wide front to back. The grip on that is way too wide for its length. You aren't the only one as far as some guns being to thin circumference-wise. I felt like that with a single stack XDS. I couldn't get a solid grip on it and it jumped around in my hand because it was too thin.
The good news is that there are plenty of guns out there that'll work for someone.
I'm going to surprise a lot of you here but the 1911 for me is the perfect grip size front to back and wide side to side. That's exactly how the shield and the PPS feel to me. Narrow width wise, but too long front to back.
I think they could make a cool pistol on this idea.
They could make a magazine longer and thinner, but yet shorter than the G19 mag. I dont see it being a true single stack, likely a stagger. The slide would be the width of the g43. So when finished it would have a shorter grip than a g19 and be thinner, and the weight would be reduced with the thinner slide.
I hope they dont try to compete with the P365 directly, it would be nice to have an offering that is different form whats already available. The downside would be that the mags would not interchange.
Its more like a skeletal metal frame over which the polymer is placed. I think the width of the magazines and therfore the grip is due to the stack itself being wider, it's not really staggered but nearly two parallel columns. Look at the the length of a G19 mag vs typical 15 round magazines. The Glock mag is noticeably shorter but fatter.Glock wont be able to compete with the 365 directly.
One of (my personal opinion) the biggest mistakes glock did was go with the polymer covered steal mags.
If glock did a traditional metal magazine they could have kept the grip size smaller
Sounds totally retarded to me.So based on the speculation that it is going to be 15mm taller.
Current 43 (glocks official measurement) is 108mm
Glock 19 is 128mm
This is speculating adding 15mm to the 43 which would put it at 123mm,
only 5mm smaller than a G19

Very similar to the G43, just a little bit taller and heavier.Sadly i cant find the M&P 2.0 compact height measurement for those who dont like the width of glock grips or angle
Thats how I felt about a 1911 grip. Try to handle an american compact with adjustable backstraps. It feels like it was molded inside my hands.I'm going to surprise a lot of you here but the 1911 for me is the perfect grip size front to back and wide side to side.
With that said, I still prefer the Glock 26 because of the capacity. It's comfortable enough that I can be accurate with it too.
