I agree with you about the Glock 19. Too much pistol for too little rounds for carry.
I felt that the Glock 26's grip was too short as well. A pinky extension remedied that feeling and didn't compromise concealment.

Must of the time I use an extension too but I also feel its too short at the back of the grip too.

This is why glock dropped the ball by giving this a 43 length slide

I agree. The more options out there, the better. Most people would think I'm bonkers for not liking the Shield, but it just didn't work for me. The 365 feels too small in my hands which is weird since i have tiny hands. The 43 feels perfect. I thought the 19 would be super comfortable for a non compact gun, but the 17 is actually preferable. Sometimes calculating 5mm here and 1cm there means nothing until you wrap your hands around it.
Where did you see that it would have a a 43 length slide? The slide of the 43 is real close to the 26 so I dont see a problem with that.

I've considered a few Kahr's, but the looooong reset was a deal breaker for what i like.
Kahr TP9 is an 8+1 (so slightly less ammo capacity than the 10 rounds we are after) but stands at 5.08" vs G19 5.04" (so Kahr is .04" taller)
Sadly the DAO trigger (while actually very nice) was what kept me from getting one.
Based on them calling it a 43X and not a 26x
And it would be about a 4mm difference in slide lenght with the 26 and 43s
There is also the Kahr P9 which is 4.5" in height but only 7+1

I know a screwed up the title of the thread.
It seems like Glock is not trying to compete with the 365. The p365 is a pocket pistol, and Im hoping Glock is working in the ideal NYS carry pistol.
