Ditto and what kind of an asshat demands and expects folks to post their credentials on an Internet forum? And you just gave him attention....
(A) ANTIQUE FIREARM: Any unloaded muzzle loading pistol or revolver with a matchlock, flintlock, percussion cap, or similar type of ignition system, or a pistol or revolver which uses fixed cartridges which are no longer available in the ordinary channels of commercial trade (NYSPL § 265.00).
This is interesting.
There is no requirement the pistol be old at all. It could be NEW !
I live in Mass, yeah, but there barely a Gun Shop within 50 miles that carries Tokarev or Makarov Ammo. I'd say that qualifies as "which uses fixed cartridges which are no longer available in the ordinary channels of commercial trade".
That's it! I'm ordering a Ruger SP101 in .455 Webley!
Just get a .357 Sig. That'll qualify. No shop ever has that. That's it! I'm ordering a Ruger SP101 in .455 Webley!
He’s really a clone .. bewareStorm troopers have rank? Way cool. I have to watch that movie again bro.
Not true, not true, you aren't looking hard enoughJust get a .357 Sig. That'll qualify. No shop ever has that.
I know. Just clowning. Not true, not true, you aren't looking hard enough
But we all know those secret online vendors who ship to our door so you should never be low on your faithful .357S hahahaha
Nonsense. No officer would do that. Here is how it worked in Suffolk County. The pistol license section demanded a licensee bring all his guns it to be checked. He lived a long way from the station, but worked nearby. So he took all his pistols to work and left locked in the trunk of his car. He then took to station at his appointment time. Pistols checked out ok. Then he put them all back in his locked trunk and went back to work. Officer Friendly from the pistol section followed him back to work. Then suspended his license because he had not taken the guns directly from home to the station and the directly home from the station.
Okay...
I just read through this dribble. I was forced to stay last night, just finished 16 hours. I would like to resspond as well. First off...
To stick up for my friend, @Airborneguy, the statement that he made about my open carry was in reference to another thread about Open carry vs Concealed carry. In that thread I stated that I OC regularly off duty and almost no one notices or they just don't care. That is where that statement came from.
As to being a cop, @Airborneguy guy is more of a cop than I will ever be. Both of the two LEO jobs that I have had could never come close to what the guys in NYC do each and everyday. Most days, I feel like I am a Deputy in Mayberry with Andy Taylor.
AB is a really real cop.
I know. It was sarcasm. A fellow poster above said that no cop would ever do that.I also have the suspension letter to prove it. Can't post. Atty Client privilege. This was a couple of years ago. He violated their "rules" and limitations on his license. He eventually got his license back so we didn't sue.
It is moronic. That I can agree with. But nothing else.Part 3

I'm not commenting on the shotgun in the closet or the gun next to their bed, just the one in a toy box.
That she had forgotten about. She had a major lapse.
GOP said..... We all raise our children a bit differently than others. I get that. In my home, my kids began training and shooting at a very, very young age. Mine would never touch or play with a gun unless they needed too. YADA, YADA, YADA MORON.
GOP said....
I'm picking up what you are putting down. The Living room gun, like I said, is stored behind the TV. Near the games but not mixed in with the game controllers and other equipment. Yeah, maybe she had a small lapse, this time though, no harm, no foul. Sounds like a good young woman!
Mummmm .....GOP is now getting the clue his foolish MORON statements are not being taken well. What the Hell Moron throw your PeeStol
in this game too.
No GOP I am not buying into you bring a Leo. Too many errors, too many asinine posts. You are Just not intelligent enough to make the grade.
I know many in law enforcement and believe me you would not make police dispatcher in my opinion. Not only that but the new officers coming
in are well educated and professional. Something I think you lack.
@ADK off the deep end.
