Primaries aren't general elections. I didn't vote for either of them in the primaries. I voted for them in the general.

By no knock warrants I mean just busting into people's homes unannounced or as the door is broken down. I should clarify that a bit, I think they are OK in certain cases but they get used way too much. To me the factor is immediate threat of harm. For example, if the police have credible info of where a kidnapping victim is being held, yeah do a no knock and help out the kidnapping victim - take the perp by surprise. If it's to try and catch someone with drugs but nobody's life is directly in danger then yeah, evidence preservation shouldn't be a justification for a no knock raid.

This Bail reform that you speak of and the way you speak of it; again, no true idea of how or even whythe system works the way it does. If no money was involved in the bail system, near 90% would NOT show up for court. This is part of what I do. In Buffalo alone, there are currently 5700 warrants for failing to show up for court. 5700!!!!

I guess my perspective is that if the judge is going to consider letting a person out on bail it's because he thinks they will return to court. If the judge doesn't think they will return then it should just be no bail at all. I'm surprised at the 5700 bench warrants though for not showing up. Wow that's a lot. Buffalo has something like 255K people. That's more than 2.2% of the population with warrants out, and that 255K includes kids, so the percentage is likely reasonably higher for actual adults. I never would have imagined that.

Listening to Binghamton PD calls I've been hearing a lot of non extraditable warrants out of NYC, many of them have up to 7 warrants. No bail and the fuckin scumbags run up here knowing they got it beat.

Sure is a shocker. Just two months ago she won. What’s changed since then? Not a whole lot. The senate screwing up the stimulus and Trump repeating fraud claims. That’s all I can think of. Not saying there wasn’t fraud but when you watch the news and all you hear is him losing court case after court case and he keeps repeating it it doesn’t bode well with moderates. Same with the stimulus. You turn on the news and hear how destitute people are and the food lines and Mitch says no to $2,000 stimulus package those hurting and the moderate sided with the demonrats. Well I guess they literally sold our liberties for a few thousand dollars. I hope it was/is worth it.
