The Georgia runoffs pretty much prove the point I have made time and time again which is when Libertarians are forced to chose between R and D, it is not an automatic vote for R. Libertarians didn't steal a thing from the GOP. If anything, it helped them because it was less votes for D.

Please keep in mind: If there was real fraud during the 11/3/20 election, then Perdue could have been cheated out of his 50% at that time and been able to avoid his runoff.

First- I’m quite aware as I’m only posing a question, but obviously you’re not. There are plenty of people on both sides of the political isle that refuse to even lean slightly towards a belief held by the other party. Until we stop polarizing each other’s political opinions and start working on some type of bipartisanship, we will continue to feed the beast that is our greatest divide. It’s gotten so much worse with the advent of social media and immediacy of information.

Not sure I agree. When you look at how close these elections are with razor thin margins a third party candidate is a spoiler. Libertarian tend to vote R anyway. Apart from the legalization of weed I’m not sure what policies the Democrats have line up with libertarians. I stick by my point. There would’ve been no runoff if there were no third party candidates. Now we as a nation are screwed royally

Not a chance. I think everything will go ahead except universal health care maybe. You’ll have free college, college loan forgiveness, and massive government handouts. I agree likely universal basic income for lower middle class. What this will do is put guys like you and I in the poor house. Inflation will scream and we will be poverty. Imagine if the poor people now get propped up by the government. The price of everything will rise.
Minorities will be given everything. Police and criminals Justin system will not look anything like it does today. NYS bail reform across America.

Obviously this is only a few issues but you couldn't be any further from the truth. I love how people who have never even so much as googled the Libertarian party platform know so much about how we vote.

I think we're going to see some democrats failing to go along with party lines on everything; it won't be a blank check for everything.
As for college loan forgiveness, more handouts, etc. yes that very much seems on the docket. Already indication biden was going to give loan forgiveness possibly through EO, now he may not have to go that route for it.
Things will change but my broader point is that every election people who lose are freaked out over what will come. Most of us can look back through the past several presidential elections and, if we put aside things we read about in the news, probably acknowledge that most things that truly, directly impact us have not changed massively. For me Trump's tax plan is the only thing I can think of that really impacted me directly to a large degree. And during obama's term I'm struggling to think of anything that impacted me to any meaningful measure. For some reason the only thing I really care about during his term is that he passed a ban on preexisting conditions for insurance (which I thought was long overdue).

You seem young and this is some how new to you. Yes I am an old man and have seen centrist "bi partisan" politics move so far to the left that a 1950's Democrat would be considered a conservative and would not be able to run for any seat within that party.

While I overwhelmingly agree with your statement on the past and not every democrat will go through on everything on the most extreme measures I think this time will be different.
I think more things will have a huge impact on us this time around. Most notably the economic/tax increases. His plan is to tax the rich and that will cause one of three things. An I don’t care I’m so rich. We will say 20% go this route. Then you’ll have people and corporations that contract and say well I’m not spending money(bad for economy) and we will say 40% go this route. The remaining 40% or higher will say fuck this. I’m hiding my money in off shore accounts, I’ll move my business headquarters to circumvent this or they will leave the USA and live like a long in other places. Anyway what this spells is as usual the bulk of the tax increases will be placed on the backs of folks like you and I. We will not see the benefit offset this because I make just to much to reap any of these benefits. We already see this in high tax states why does anyone think they won’t depart the USA?
I also disagree on Obama not impact us. He started this race war back up. If you have kids or grandkids they will have less prospects in life. Every company that I know of has a race based hiring practice at this point and I know people who are partaking in this practice personally. I tell them they are fucked up but it still occurs.
Most cops will retire if they can and they will be replaced with liberal shills this will effect us.
Also you’re on a gun board so I’m assuming you own guns. Wait until you see the price of guns if you can find or get one. Remember he doesn’t want internet sales. That means no buying a gun and shipping it to an FFL. This will pass no question in my mind. Good luck finding what you need locally. It won’t happen.
Also as mentioned before the cost of goods and services will rise. Of this goes through I do landscaping. I’m telling you right now I’ll raise my prices. Why not. Lower income people will have more money. Most my jobs average around $1,000. Of the government is giving you $2,000 why wouldn’t I charge another $100-200. The government just gave you that money and you have nothing invested in it. Others will do this as well.
What do you think the price of a car will be if everyone get $2,000/month. How about housing prices? This could have a huge ripple effect. That is of course if UBI goes into effect and I think it has a good chance of doing so. There are very poor rural conservatives as well.

Guns will definitely be a way we are impacted for sure.
Taxes are going to rise, but I think they had to anyway, because trump went on a horrendous spending spree. Even before covid his original claims to balance the budget by the end of two terms were not at all in the trajectory. Democrats tax and spend, republicans just spend and jack up the debt. Both parties throw money around--it's just who they throw it around to.
