I have a nice comfy bed, yes. No toilet, outside of the bucket I keep for emergencies. No I've never used it. Kinda using it as a trash can at the moment.Well shiiiiiiit, then you may even have a bed and toilet in your "get home bag"..
In an emergency I don't see why I would abandon my truck if I could avoid it. I do have a large backpack with clothes and supplies in if I had to take off, I use it for bugging out to a motel when the truck needs servicing. My point is I don't really have a home, I have everything I need to survive in comfort right here. As for arms, well being caught with a firearm in the truck is grounds for immediate termination. And yes I do have nosey mechanics to worry about. I could probably hide a handgun in here but as I travel through Chicago and NY and NJ that presents special legal concerns. This is why I so desperately need a reciprocity bill to go through. I may or may not be willing to risk losing my job, and if I were I certainly would not discuss it on the internet, but piling on the risk of major felony charges on top of that is a formidable deterrent.Well shit Pod. Of all people, you need a get home bag being that you drive truck.
Get yourself a weapon too. At the very least a pump shotgun that has a folding stock.
Or you could install a toilet and stash a pocket pistol in the murky bottom or somewhere else creative that it cannot be found.
That's not my truck in the pic. Mine is similar but I don't haul reefers (refigerated trailer). I haul most anything, but mostly mundane stuff like paper goods and such, empty cans for beer soda or foodstuffs, lot of cereal from big bins of it to be put in consumer packaging, or the filled boxes or empty boxes to be filled. None of those operations occur at the same place . I also haul beer and bottled water pretty regularly. I am currently hauling 32,000 lbs of dog food. What do you typically haul? You could get lucky when it all goes to hell hauling freeze dried goods..
Well a pump shotgun is legal in any state. Even NYC.In an emergency I don't see why I would abandon my truck if I could avoid it. But difficult to conceal in the truck. And also cumbersome to wield in the very tight confines I'm likely to need it. A handgun is what I need.Well a pump shotgun is legal in any state. Even NYC.
I posted earlier in this tread, I pack it as a bugout bag.
Legal in NYC with a permit!Well a pump shotgun is legal in any state. Even NYC.
