Staying put for now. The more I thought about it, I don’t want to leave my house. I have too much stuff here. Some good folks here did try to help out. I’m just gonna ride this out and see what happens.@maverick52 what did you end up doing

Thanks for asking. We r all good. No sickness no chaos. I am gonna put the house up for sale as soon as things cool down. I known about 10 people who had coronavirus and all recovered. That’s the news nobody shares. Most people do recover. The problem is in NYC that there are so many people, the death toll is naturally going to be high. Hope everyone stays well.@maverick52
How's it going so far? Any updates?

OP asked where he could go. Your response was that there are restrictions in your county and that they have no cases and are going to keep it that way. You implied that he couldn't come to your county. Any reasonable person can see it. That was false and misleading, and you know it.
OP- head straight to Lewis county and don't stop till you get there!!
Gentlemen please keep it civil. Thank you.where did I say it was the law ?
where did I say it was enforceable ?
i retract notta and still say you're a douche .
Not sure yet. We’ve been wanting to move to Texas for the longest time. Looking at some jobs there now. If we can get work there we would go. If not we may move north of NYC. Either CT or northern Westchester/Putnam.
Yes. Texas. Like I said. Looking for jobs now. We have good friends who made the move already. At least there you know you live in America.Texas.
Either way keep us updated
For now, till Bloomberg sinks his claws in, which he is trying to do.Yes. Texas. Like I said. Looking for jobs now. We have good friends who made the move already. At least there you know you live in America.

The only thing that was not civil was not said by me. Thank you.Gentlemen please keep it civil. Thank you.
There ya go! CT is a beautiful place but why trade in one screwed up place for another thats just as bad? Tx has it's problems too but there's still a LOT of freedom loving Americans living there and with friends already you would have a built support system. IE: where to shop, live ectra.Yes. Texas. If you work in the dirty shitty, Putnam is a nice place to be. Dont have to drive to work, just hop on the train.
Well, normally, at least.
Thanks for the offer. I will keep it in mind.Well, if Texas doesn't work out for you and you end up staying in the area, come up to Orange. Way cheaper than Westchester or Putnam. I can make you a nice deal on a 3/2 with off street parking in quiet family neighborhood.
My selling points-- Great commuter location! Only minutes to I-84/I-87. Close to Stewart Airport. Easy access to other regional and metropolitan airports! Walk to park. Major restaurants and shopping only minutes away.
Hello my fellow 2A brothers. I’m reaching out to see if anyone can help me out. Me, my wife and kids want to leave our home and head north or west until this corona virus dies down. The Shit is gonna hit the fan downstate soon and I don’t want to be here when it does. I have the mortgage on hold for 90 days and just want somewhere safe where we can hole up until for a few months. (Just need an internet signal for work) If you or anyone you know has a house or cabin you can recommend for rent, I would be very interested. Looking to get at least 90mins to 2 hours away from NYC. If anyone knows anything and can help please PM me.
Thanks, Mav
Thanks for the advice. If you read through, I am staying put for now. I’ve changed my outlook altogether. I’m putting my house for sale ASAP, and am looking for work in Texas. If I find a job in Texas, I am high tailing it out of here. No hysteria. Just another reason to leave this hell hole.I will be perfectly honest; I believe you are surrendering to the Hysteria.
I live in a fairly congested area (Danvers, Mass).
It's not NYC; it's a 'burb.
If you are living in another 'burb, just be sensible.
If you are living in NYC - mebe you should be thinking long term, and not temporarily.
GOD BLESS.
If you move north go putnum. Im on the border, literally a stones throw, and i wish we went to putnum. Not sure yet. We’ve been wanting to move to Texas for the longest time.
