So what you are saying is, all those non-existent crimes that have been committed with "ghost guns", will suddenly be turned into bombings that won't happen either.
I mean all those criminals running around with ghost guns will need to continue their rein of terror on the general public somehow.

Oh they work...and work well. No way I'd order one from Amazon. It would be a guaranteed introduction with a couple ATF or FBI agents.

What makes me feel safe about this law is that when some international illegal arms dealer comes across a "lost" crate of new AK 47's to sell on the black market here in NY, he will have to stamp serial numbers on all the major parts of each rifle so they can all be traced back to him. Her will follow the law, right? All criminals follow the law.

These assholes in Albany are going after a non existent problem here in NY and that is gun violence by law abiding legal gun owners.

They're still legal in NY too. I would suspect that dealers near the border may start ID'ing for them to avoid BS with NY AG once this is signed into law. Knowing how much the NY AG likes to threaten other states and businesses.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NEWS10) — Police departments across New York State are dealing with the growing problem of so-called “ghost guns,” which come in parts and are virtually undetectable.

Now, Sen. Chuck Schumer wants the federal government to step in and prevent ghost guns from getting into the hands of criminals.

Schumer spoke to the media in Syracuse where police across Onondaga County have uncovered 23 ghost guns. This includes the gun used by Miguel Russo to shoot his 6-year-old nephew in December 2019.

Russo was shot dead by police. The boy survived, but Schumer said it’s a growing problem that needs to be addressed.
